Drunkards Path Stepping Beyond Paperback – October 19, 2007

This book was exactly what I'd researched it to be, a fun new way to quilt the Drunkard's Path block. The book's layout is done in an easy to follow format. Cheryl Phillips' unique approach to her new technique is a real time saver uncovering the mystique of curved piecing. There are pattern templates included in the pages, which I love, so you can try the technique on your own before investing in any manufactured templates. Shown are beautiful examples of full-sized quilts to try if you're so inspired. In the resource section at the back of the book are links to Cheryl's website, where you can view a video utilizing her technique. Even beginners will be amazed at what you can do when you start with a circle and a square.

LOVE the booklet and all the patterns, but, did not appreciate the package being left on porch and not behind the screen door. Envelope was wet, and soaked through to the edges of the booklet that were wet and the edges curled..

Great book and wonderful seller. Cheryl Phillips has cornered the quilt world with the round blocks. Love the way her mind works!This book has wonderful directions and illustrations. This book is great for a confident beginner.

I thought the book had patterns with instructions and the amount of fabric for each quilt but really it just showed pictures of different ways to put your pieces together. Not the book I thought it was

This is an excellent book with lots of ilustrations. It is a must have reference book. I am new at quilting so this has become my best book.

I am on a new quest to make these types of quilt and this book is very helpful in showing the possibilities

Just what I was looking for. A good jumping off point to use some templates that I picked up at a quilt show.
