Great way to contain brake fluid
Having done MANY brake jobs as a DIYer, I have had many opportunities to be scared $#)%less about spilling brake fluid on or around my cars. I have knocked over collection bottles, etc. and cleaning up dirty brake fluid is no fun.Does this completely eliminate that risk? No. I can out-stupid just about any solution when I try hard enough. What I will say is that this provides a really slick way to collect brake fluid, and it is about as simple as something can be for this purpose. If I were to make ANY improvement suggestion, it would be to make two little tabs out of duct tape or Gorilla tape and put one on the hose and one on the bag, fold them over and punch a hole in them. That way you can hang the bag onto something (like an IV bag) and I just hung the hose on there as a failover. This will remove one other opportunity to accidentally kick the bag or step on it when you're moving around. One big "plus" for this is that it is reusable. You can drain the bag into the old brake fluid bottle when you are done and slide it into whatever box/tote you keep the rest of these tools with when not in use and it doesn't take up any real space. Then dispose of the old fluid responsibly at a recycler!

A catheter for brakes
This product is like a total catheter for brakes to make sure that the fluid from the master cylinder (the bladder of your car) discharges out the urethrae (brake lines) of your car. Due to the fact that the receptacle is a baggie, this product creates sort of a vacuum for the brake fluid and does not spill out. When you are done, you can and should remove the silicone brake line from the baggie and squeeze the contents of the baggie into a fluid recycling container. Then throw it away.

I'll add this to my list of "things i'll use but don't need"
Bag arrived and a quick look at it confirmed it was fairly sturdy, i didn't expect (nor did I) to see any leakage from either the bag or the straw that was plastic welded onto the bag. It's remarkably simple to use, connect the the bag and the extension to your brake bleeder then walk over to your brake handle or pedal and squeeze. You're looking for the air bubbles to stop flowing then you're done (that was an amazing oversimplification of breeding ones brakes). So if it does what it is supposed to and it's easy to use AND i manged to not make a mess with it, why the 3 star rating? Well, frankly the product is a bit extraneous, anyone who is bleeding their own brakes prior to this has already figured out that they need a hose and receptacle for expelled fluid. I previously used a small hose and a mason jar with some brake fluid in it to limit backflow/suction. This bag is the same principle, where my mason jar just cost me noise from my wife about wasting one of her canning jars...this solution cost a few bucks.I can only classify this a a solution looking for a problem. Now that i think about it a little bit tho...if this is the first time you are trying to do some service on a motorcycle or car brake system, this is a nice simple prepackaged solution and probably worth getting. But for the moderately experienced DIY person, you could probably pass (unless you've run out of mason jars).

Flawless product, makes everything so easy
Well, I had to change my pads and do a full fluid change on my 1997 Harley softail. I decided to grab some Russell Speed Bleeder valves and as great as those are, this bag makes it even easier. Hose perfectly fit my 3/8" Speed Bleeder (R40562) fitting and didn't let any air in. No need for zip ties and dobs of grease to keep air from entering there. This bag makes it way easier than any bleeder vacuum hose I have tried before (which never fit tight enough on any OEM valve or aftermarket). The hose is a much smaller diameter than the valve fitting itself, but it's a lot more elastic than other hose, which ensures an air-tight fit, but you also don't have to ham-fist it on the fitting, goes on pretty easy. It's the ideal perfect hose for the job, I don't understand why bleeder pumps and other things don't use the same kind.

I will never use a bottle again
This bag paired with a set of speed bleeders allows me to change brake fluid or bleed the air out of the brakes in a few minutes by myself. I mainly use it on my motorcycle. The tube that comes with it is long enough to allow the bag to lay on the floor. You do not have to worry about anything tipping over and spilling. You can empty the contents of the bag into a bottle when you are finished and reuse the bag.
