Awesome product!
Fantastic product! User to coat a brand new RV LP tank in the hopes it will reduce damage from road debris.Instructions were clear and the manufacturers website had so much support information which was greatly helpful.I opted to roll on the bedliner rather than spray to control the mess and be more accurate with the application.

Pay attention to Details
I had this situation on the sill of my van. I have recently mounted new tires (BF Goodrich G-force Comp 2's - very cool looking) and they are 3/4" wider and I immediatley noticed more water and debris deposited on the sill and figured the rust promlem was only going to be accelerated so recognized something durable and absorbing that won't rock chip would be necessary.I was concerned with the negative comments so I contacted them wanting assurance my can would be viable. I got a whitewash response which disapointed me.I decided to pursue the project with this material anyway as I wanted white (as opposed to black with black bedliner or adhesive vinyl 3" tape) . I did the required body work, sanded the sill, taped off, wiped with acatone. Prepared the can according to the instructions and made the application. Here are my observations; I warmed the shop all night so the surface would be warm. And, placed the can next to a heat source. Not right in front of it ! But, close enough to warm up. I turned the can upside down over night (primer too) . I think the pre-puncture and post puncture shaking is critical. I found that applying the material back handed (in this case, left to right for a right handed person) worked for me due to the odd angle I was applying at. You have got to keep the can moving so be sure everything is in order and out of your way b/f you begin. I applied all of the can in three coats. It will glob if you do not keep the can moving. After the application, I directed some heat to assist in drying. I did not sand b/w coats. Next, painted over the top with the matching paint of the van, two coats, and topped off with two coats of clear coat. In the end, very happy with the results. I am confident the problem has been rectified.Because they were not interested in guaranteeing their product, I might suggest this as an alternative; I am thinking you could pruchase the regular black bed-liner and then paint it the color you want and top off with clear coat.

Great for Trolling Motor
I found this product through reading some forums about painting trolling motors and decided to buy try it. My Minn Kota trolling motor had completely lost all of its paint and was starting to rust so I needed something to cover it. I originally bought some regular spray paint at the hardware store, tried that but it came off within a couple trips. I’ll have to note that I use this trolling motor in saltwater and also around reefs, oyster shells, etc. so it takes a pounding. On to the review: I completely power sanded the motor with 80 grit sandpaper to get all the rust and any old residue off. I went down to the bare metal. I then used a self-etching primer since I’ve never had luck with paint sticking to this type of metal without it. After the primer I sprayed the Raptor white on like the instructions say. First coat was a light dusting, then on to thicker coats. One thing I recommend is to put something you don’t mind throwing away on the floor and any areas that this might get overspray as it’s extremely sticky. I used the entire can on my trolling motor which was about 5-6 coats. It’s a lot of material on the motor but since this is what I was using it for I decided to drain the can on it.Overall the texture was perfect for a trolling motor, thick with some nice rippled effects. I let this dry 2-3 days just to make sure it had hardened. I thought I might have issues with paint chipping when I placed the motor into it’s storage position and to date I’ve had no chips or even markings on the motor. It’s been out on the water about 5 times now and has hit some shell reefs without scratching the motor or chipping the paint. I’ll need to see if this will last 2-3 years but for now it’s doing it’s job.I’m very happy with this product and would recommend on trolling motors, especially if you’re tired of having to repaint them all the time like I was. 4.5 stars because of cost and coverage. Will try to update in about a year into this.01/02/2024 Update:My original trolling motor that I painted some time back is still looking great with the first use of the Raptor white spray. I haven’t had any peeling or chips and am running the trolling motor at least 3 times a week. There are small scratches but that is to be expected when running over oyster beds. I’m still happy I purchased this product.I recently bought another boat that had a highly flaking Minn Kota trolling motor. I bought this paint again and did the same thing to this trolling motor. There are a couple issues I have though with the paint. It was $15 more expensive per can since I last purchased in mid-2023. I think that $50/can is just way too much even for this great product. I hope that Raptor lowers their price to maybe $25-$30 / can to make it more affordable to a normal person. Or possibly make a smaller can so you don’t waste half the can on small projects.

1 bad can froze up just after starting to use - inconsistent results - First worked great
First can worked great, painted several tools with it to refresh their lives. Decided I was happy enough with the results from the first can to actually start painting my truck bumpers. But the 2nd can became solid after the first coat. Leaving what feels and weighs out like half of it unusable. At $35 a can that's just way too much plus it seems I can not return it so its my loss. I need a few more cans to find out if I just got a dead one. Problem is at $35 a can that's a pricy gamble. I started a 3rd can and it does not seem to have hardened right away. Id really like to do my whole truck but at a 50/50 can rate with no return I'm hesitant.- Took about 1.5 cans to do the bumper- Covers very thick - could even skip the prime as long as you really sand/scuff and clean the surface.- any scratches or imperfections will not show through 1 coat- Keep in mind its thick stuff tho so 1 can does not go very far. Maybe 3 or 4 square feet is my guess- Be sure to spray from much further away than a regular paint can, 1 - 2 foot for less bubbles and to avoid drips.Would be raving 5 stars with many of pics of great results if it were not for the $15 worth of solid paint in the 2nd can. I really like the product I just need it to work or be replaceable when it doesn't.
