Alpine Naturals Dark Chocolate Ginger, 8 Ounce

You can taste the ginger and feel its warmth but not overmuch as it is on the faint side comparatively speaking.The dark chocolate coating tastes good. Some ingredients are healthy and others are not, although common in candy of this type.

I would prefer a smaller piece size and less expensive.

The ginger candy is just right and the dark chocolate is also just in right texture and flavor.However, I like to reorder, but you no longer carry it.

I absolutely love dark chocolate and crystallized ginger. Unfortunately, the combination of the two wasn’t very good. I’ve had other dark chocolate covered ginger that I enjoy so perhaps it was just this package. They arrived in a silver foil bag with a printed sticker on them, they looked more like a bulk wholesale product than store packaging.

What these nuggets of dark chocolate covered compressed ginger have taught me is for my preferences ginger is a great addition to some recipes but not on my radar as a mouth watering snack. I do not like the aftertaste of these chunks and need to follow up eating one with a handful of chocolate covered raisins to cleanse both my palate and psyche of the effects of eating one.But, as per usual, that's probably just me...

Sadly, these ended up in the trash can. I ate two or three and that was two or three too many. The taste of the ginger is very strong and it's a sharp and bitter taste. The outer chocolate didn't seem to be all the great, either. I would not recommend these to anyone.

I thought I would just order it and have one or two occasionally. Now this thing is on instant re-order, very addictive and delicious.

Just too little in the package.
