Mine came in looking likem it was sharpened by a person with parkinson. The edge of the axe varies in thickness and no uniform edge. Some pitting in the metal, came well oiled. Lost 1 stars because now I ahve to re-edge and hone the edge. Other than that, no gripe.

Really nice hatchet head. Going to make a handle for it. Comes oiled to prevent rust. It comes sharp out of the box. Of course I'm going to take it to another level. Just need a handle and you have a really cool hatchet/ small ax.
