Cozy Beddings Lux Décor 8-Piece Comforter Set, California King, Royal Blue with White Stripe

My son goes to a college whose colors are maroon and burnt orange - not easy to find those colors in home decor, at least not burnt orange. This set matches perfectly with the colors of his college-themed room. The comforter is incredibly soft and a better quality than I expected. The set came with decorative pillows that are also high quality and I was surprised when they were in the box - I should probably read the description of the stuff I buy. Normally, pillows are not included in a bed-in-a-bag set and this was a nice added touch.As a word of caution, don't make the same assumption I made, you know what they say about assuming - don't do it - the set does not come with sheets. Even though there weren't sheets included, which the description never said it did, that was my fault for not reading, duh, I have no complaints. This is high quality stuff and I'll be buying a set for my bedroom soon.As a side note, the company cares about their customer's satisfaction. They followed up with me to make sure I was completely satisfied, which I am. I love that!

The only reason this is getting one star is because of the fast delivery and the fact that when I first got it, it was beautiful. With that being said, I have now had this comforter set for a little over a month. It has now come time to wash it. I am regretting that decision now. The first time I washed it the product cam out COVERED in orange fuzz. Yes I know that there will be lint with anything, but this completely was caked in it. After getting it dried, it took some time but I got all the fuzz off. The filling seemed a bit off inside but was easily fixed. The second time I had to was it was due to child getting sick on it. I washed it and dried it according to directions once again. The lint was gone this time. But the inner padding is not completely ruined. It looks like someone opened the comforter up, cut up the padding, balled some padding up and shoved it back in there. This comfortable is now completely useless and has to be thrown away. I have rarely had problems with products on Amazon, but this one product has been nothing but problems and I now regret my purchase.

I was initially very excited about this set. Very clean and simple looking. When I first opened it, you could tell it had been in the plastic bag for a while because it smelled like plastic/chemical so (naturally) I decided to put it through the wash with some sweet smelling detergent. Everything appeared fine until the next morning; there was a brown color bleeding into the white trim. And it's way to noticeable to let it slide but I figured that maybe I could get a stain removing pen and try it out before giving up on the comforter..... Then I noticed the blue color that everyone else has been talking about, but rather than it appearing on the white trim, it s dead center on the comforter and it dried hard and crusty!!! WTF I have never been so dissatisfied with a product bought off of amazon. This will be the first product that I have ever returned (I received it yesterday).

Love this bed set. Couldn't beat the price. The comforter is soft and cozy. The color is brilliant and it makes a HUGE statement in my master bedroom. I wanted something that wasn't too feminine but not too masculine at the same time. This set is dead on target. I completely love this bed set.I am updating my original review. I hadn't washed the blanket yet when I posted the first review. I waited a while before washing the blanket, I put it in the machine (which is an extra large capacity machine) and the blanket did not come clean, it is too big and bulky for the washer. It also shredded during the first wash. The stitching came loose and the stuffing came out. The blanket is useless to me now. I can not properly clean it nor can I stitch it back together. This was a HUGE WAIST of money. I have requested a refund.

I really loved this looked. My husband and I searched through about 60 different bed sets before we both agreed on this set. We bought the sheets that amazon recommended as well. We were extremely excited! Def. in need of a new bed set! However, whenever we received this set the recommended sheets are shades darker than the comforter. I know thats not a valid complaint because it was only a recommendation. The color of the comforter does not appear to be the same shade of blue the picture show so that did upset me but I was still real excited about this purchase and who would see the sheets anyways?! Moving on to having the comforter for approximately two months now and the white rim has tore itself from the blue part and the internal stuffing has somehow relocated itself inside the blanket. I do love the look once the bed is fixed, but Im so upset that I keep having to repair this blanket almost biweekly. Will not be purchasing another product like this.

I originally had this at 3 stars, which was already lower than I would have purchased had I known it's problems, but after washing it for the first time in cold water, gentle cycle, these are the thing that lowered the score even further. The comforter came apart in several areas, up to 3 inches in one spot, and needs to be re-sewn. The pillow cases came out very wrinkly, even though they were taken out of the drier still slightly damp and left to hang, and they don't close well over the pillows. The comforter is supposed to be for a California King, it is short on the bed and should be longer to fit a California King properly.Even for the price it's poor quality. I would highly recommend not purchasing this item and it is almost never I give a review this low.

This set is stunning and comfortable. It makes my room look so wonderful and cozy and still classy. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a set.#UPDATE It's been a few weeks since I've had this, and after its first washing it IS starting to come apart at the seams. So far it's only a small tear, but I can see it's going to get bigger. I'm torn because the bedding itself LOOKS AMAZING. There is a company that makes an identical pattern and so far none of the reviews have said it is falling apart. I ordered THAT set, and I'm hoping it looks just as great but is of a more durable quality.

Nice and cozy, HOWEVER I did not realize that the pillows pictured in the product photo were only covers. Only the 2 most forward throw pillows come as it. I bought mine on sale for about $40, I think that was a decent price for the quality of the product

I would only get this if you plan on getting the comforter dry cleaned only! Don't put it in the washer or dryer, it ruined it. Who has time to dry clean their bedding?!
