Cremona SV-165 Premier Student Violin Outfit - 4/4 Size

I received the violin very quickly and in good condition.It seems well made for a student violin. The pegs fit snug without slipping.I like the case and bow as well.It doesn't come with good strings, like all other student violins. Actually, the G, D and A seem fine. The E string, however, seems unplayable. I did not mark down my rating for this, though, because strings are very personal and I would not want to pay more for a violin that came with good strings that I don't care for.addendum: I put on new strings and then realized that I had made the mistake of having tuned the E an octave lower than it should have been. I am not going to re-try the original string as I like my new strings a lot, but I just wanted to note that the error was not the string, it was me.

We got the kid's violin today. Excited to find that the sounds are much better than ~$50 ones. However I found it goes without fine tuners (see pic)! The product images on Amazon shows it DOES have fine tuners; the Cremona 130 1/10 violin my friend got also goes with find tuners! I've requested the missing parts (4 fine tuners) and I can install by myself. As a violinist for > 20 yrs, I found the kid's violin almost IMPOSSIBLE to tune without the fine tuner.

This violin kit is perfect for someone starting out. It has everything you will need with the exception of a shoulder rest. The case seems well made, and the violin is better than I expected at this price point.

This was a good student violin, the case was kinda cheap and didn't last long. The violin seems very good for th money paid.

Fantastic beginner violin. Comes with everything needed for a student. Wood is beautiful and case is high quality. Original strings are usable, but restring is recommended.
