Universal iPad Tripod Holder Adapter
What a great IPad Tripod Adapter!! I needed one for the holidays, especially with family coming over! So great to finally get into the pics with the family! Works great with IPad Pro 11” and easy to install into the tripod!

Sturdy stand
I bought it to benefit from my tablet while playing my instrument. At the beginning, I did not believe that it would be standing for a long time and expecting that it would go down by time. But no, it is sturdy and stable. Easy to mount and adjust.

Great stand
I recently bought a bike turbo trainer. The desks for these are insanely priced. So I really looked at what I wanted. Which was basically my iPad in front of me. I had a sturdy tripod and I figured I’d try. I ordered this and it fits the bill perfectly. Holds it steady, locks in place, and works with a 12.9 iPad. Great buy.

great idea bad implementation.
Let me start out by saying that I have bought several different tablet tripod mounts. I currently have the iPad pro 12.9 with 2tb and cellular, so I’m not going to take any chances with it. I bought the case that has a slot on the side to attach the apple pencil and has enough rubber around the sides to protect against a low drop. Now this creates an issue when trying to find a tablet tripod mount. I personally don’t know of anyone who is going to set up their $2K iPad on a tripod without having a decent case on it, and if I find them I have some land I would like to sell them!Let me say that this is one of the very few cases that will hold an iPad pro 12.9 with a large case on it. It also has a locking mechanism that locks down the arm to the tablet. that is one of the reasons that I gave it the rating that I did; otherwise, it would have received a 1*.Ok now to the bad things…The ball on the back is useless! You can’t get it tight enough to keep it from moving. I tightened it up as much as possible without stripping it out. The iPad pro 12.9 is kind of heavy and I finally gave up on that and superglued it in place. After all it is going to be attached to a tripod that has swivel, tilt and angle anyways, so I’ll leave it up to the tripod for adjustments. The padding that comes in contact with the tablet is good for protecting against scratches; however, it really isn’t great for holding the tablet in place because it is a bit to slippery. I once again modified it. I pulled off that stuff and used some uncoated rubber neoprene and some contact cement to attach it. It has very little slip to it and compresses when locking the arm down on the top of the tablet. The last part that worries me more than anything is where the base connects to the tripod. The threading that the tripod shoe screws into has plastic threads. That doesn’t give me a whole lot of confidence if the iPad is bumped or there is a decent wind. Also if you’re going to use it at an angle it is going to put allot of stress on that point. Even being a plastic bracket it is pretty sturdy except for that threading. Now I haven’t done it yet, but I plan on drilling out that hole and using some JB Weld putty (can be bought on Amazon) and filling it back in. then using a ¼ thread tap to add the threading back in. JB Weld putty is reinforced with mettle and once it hardens is like steel!Once I have my final modification done this will be a great tablet mount. Would I use it in its original form? Not on your life!My recommendations to the company:1. Either eliminate the ball joint or change it to mettle so it can be locked down tighter.2. Use rubber or rubber neoprene for the padding.3. Put some kind of mettle reinforcement for the threading.

Clutch Add-On!
I already had a tripod—but at the last minute, I was told that my classroom would be the “TikTok” room and I was going to be given an iPad to use for the day. No one in the technology department had an iPad mount. This item came in at the right time! My students enjoyed making their videos and had such a blast not having to use their own phones. 10/10! Five stars across the board. I wanted to rate this item for versatility but this is the only tripod accessory I own so I am unsure if this would work with other models.

easy to use
I use this for videoing training classes. I have an iPad Pro large version. This unit mounts easily to the tripod, and the iPad easily mounts and secures in a way that doesn't cause me concern for my iPad. The iPad does seem to jiggle easily. The video quality still seems good. The remote on/off that we got help so I don't have to touch the iPad as much, but i still need to zoom in and out and rotate the unit on the tripod tp follow the speaker. This is my first experience with mounting an iPad so maybe this is normal. Overall I really like it.

Pricey but does the job!
This is a bit pricey for some plastic but it works really well and is very secure only thing is sometimes you cannot loosen the part that keeps it so sturdy once you’ve tightened it well. Does the job though

not worth the price
I was disapointed at the quality of the tripod mount, for the price, it's not heavy duty at all. It is made very ridgid and lightweight plastic, which I expect will crack if we are not very careful. The pads on the back don't grip the IPad very well and it easily falls out. The mount for the tripod loosens with just a little movement. My expectation was of a quality more similar to my Mephoto Iphone tripod mount for the price.

Very light but seems robust enough
Well-designed. Light- maybe flimsy but time will tell.
