Bark Collar for Small Medium Large Dogs

Wow! Didnt think I'd ever find something to curb my schnauzers love for barking. Spent over 200.00 on the sonic large ultra sonic egg - didn't phase her one bit but worked for my maltipoo. Spent 130 on petsafe small dog static collar... again.. like she had nothing on at all. Tried a manual static collar... only works when you're there to push the button.Put this new collar on her and within a half hour... she knew to stop barking. Let me say.... this isn't something to keep on all day all the time. This is when she barks out of control and we're camping. Or in the car and she barks at everything that moves. It has its place and hopefully in time... I wont need it at all. For 30.00... I figured how good could it be... worth every penny and then some. Would absolutely suggest. I'm impressed I was able to put this on the lowest setting with great results. I wasn't given this item... I purchased it after reading many many reviews on all types of collars. Totally impressed. We will see how it holds up over time.

This collar is great. I like how it doesn’t shock unless the barking continues after sounding a warning beep and vibration. For instance, when the dog begins to bark, the collar will first just beep and vibrate as a warning. If the dog continues to bark, the collar then beeps, vibrates and will shock at a low level. If the barking continues, the shock will get progressively stronger after beeping and vibrating. After using it for just one day, our dog might bark one time, but now after he hears the beep and vibration, he stops! Since he only barks once now, the collar doesn’t even make it to the point of needing to shock him. He stops barking after just hearing it beep and vibrate. Love it!

I have used a couple of different collars with my dog and I'd have to say this one works the best. I've used a battery powered one that seems to always hand dead batteries that need changed. That gets tiresome. I also have a collar that it remote control powered which has worked really well but you have to be home and listening to to hit the button when they bark. That's unrealistic so it doesn't truly train them to stop. What's wonderful about this one in particular is that it's rechargeable, no need to keep buying batteries all the time. It's powered by the bark so it actually trains them. And it doesn't just shock, you can set it to vibrate as well which I think is a little more gentle. This has worked wonders on my dog. She barks at everything and nothing. When she barks this beeps a few times then vibrates. She's become conditioned to associate the beeping with what's to come which seems to almost be enough. It would be interesting to see if she stopped barking by the beep alone if that was an option. Regardless, the vibrate doesn't hurt her, it's just an odd sensation she doesn't like and makes her stop barking. She'll bark at something 2 times then stops. Nothing has worked this well and we've used everything to get her to stop. We had honestly given up before finding this.

So we’ve had this for almost 2 weeks and we love it! Currently are using it for our beagle who goes nuts over the smallest thing. Before he would be barking and howling at a bumblebee that was on the ground. That’s how ridiculous and over exaggerating he was lolNow when we take it off he still does bark when someone is being mean to him through the fence but won’t bark other than that. Very happy with this product.

3 dogs, 40-65 pounds, collar on each.It's a decent enough collar.Pro:Decent battery (and rechargable)Has a good vibrationDoesn't false alarm.Neutral:The shock is meaningless and has no impact on behavior. Compared to other collars I've experienced in the past, from behavior to invisible fence and so forth, this shock isnt of use unless, possibly, the collar very tight on a shorthaired dog which is standing in a puddle.Cons:Part of why it doesn't false alarm is due to the collar not being very sensitive. On the max setting it sometimes takes extended barking to trigger.The prongs are very short and (IMHO) are too short for a dog that it moderately long haired.I might buy these again, but I would shop around.I purchased these due to the many glowing reviews, however when the collars came, so did a offer for a bribe in return for a 5 star review.

Instant decrease in barking with vibrate mode. I love that there are multiple choices for bark control. Fits well and nice and bright color.

I’m very satisfied with this bark collar. The main reason I chose it was because it has two modes:1)beep + vibration mode ( The bark control collar will beep done vibrate every time it’s triggered, to turn on this mode make sure the collar is turn off, than hold the power on button for 5 seconds until you see blinking red or green light.. choose your preferred mode by pressing on/off button, after 5 seconds the light will become solid)2)Beep +vibration+ shock mode.. (Level 1~5, level 5 is the most sensitive and 1 is the least) Blue light on the color indicates battery life. Flashing blue indicates low battery or charged but not fully charge.. do you vibrations are really strong and your dog will definitely feel them ...It is made from thick plastic and The construction of the collar is very sturdy... having two colors to choose from is also very convenient when is made from heavy duty nylon And the other is covered in silicone/rubber with many punched in holes to adjust length.. end it also reflects the light ...I Rarely use the shock mode..

It works very well. I am certified as a dog obedience trainer and we adopted an unsocialized shepherd that had been kept out in a yard allowed to bark at all things and for anything. I was hesitant to buy a shock collar because you hear the horror stories - but this being a static shock there's no risk of electric burns. It's also go the option to not use the shock and only have the beep an vibration. If you've ever seen trainers use the clickers - it's a VERY similar technique. We've had it 4 days now and I had take her collar off and set it on top of her kennel. She barked, heard the beep and immediately stopped barking, without needing the shock. Works well!

We just received our long awaited package and turns out it's the completely incorrect collar. It was the correct box, but a different brand of cheaper collar inside! The collar was covered in somebody else's dog hair. The charging cable that came with it was the wrong type and broken. It's obvious that someone bought this, jammed the wrong brand of collar into the box and returned it. The company didnt even check, they sent us a cheaper, used, dirty, and broken collar. No way I would even try to put this on my dog. I'm very disapointed in this package!***Update*** I've tried charging the collar for hours and nothing. It's completely broken. I will be returning and not risking ordering again.

Tenemos un pug que toda la vida ha ladrado muchísimo para llamar la atención y era imposible tolerar los ladridos y no quiero ni imaginarme lo que pensaban los vecinos! Me decidí por comprar este collar entrenador después de buscar todas las opciones disponibles. Tiene dos opciones de programas disponibles: un modo “light” que solo suena y vibra y otro “serio” que además de eso, y solo si el perro sigue ladrando, le da una muy pequeña descarga eléctrica. Yo probé sobre mi mano dicha descarga y es como cuando tocas alguna superficie y “te da un toque”.El sistema va advirtiéndole de manera gradual al perro si este reincide ladeando de manera muy prudente pero cada vez más enérgicamente.Un solo día bastó para cambiarnos la vida!De verdad es una maravilla!Van tras días de usarlo y de verdad parece otro perrito! Y solo le han dado un par de toques para que aprendiera! Los perros son muy listos! Solo basta utilizar un estímulo oportuno para corregir sus malas costumbres.Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Using this on my Australian Shepherd and it's not helped over the past 4-5 months. Collar seems to be made well. I wish it would beep and vibrate without such long breaks in between, as my dog gets a lot of barking in between. Wish it was more effective.

I bought this thinking it would help to curb some of my dogs barking. It didn’t. He barked out of control even with it on. I liked the idea it was supposed to beep the. Vibrate then gentle shock. All it ever did was beep. So disappointed.

Love how you can opt out of the shock. The collars were larg enough for any dog size and great quality. My puppers is learning quickly not to bark at every leaf blowing past our door! Very impressed so far!
