Switch looks and preforms as described so far…. The oem part is 24.5 years old and had one issue out of 7 functions

Very pleased that I have the ability to still buy what appears to be a OEM switch at a good price. My original switch which allowed me adjust the dash light level by using the slide, from very dim to bright. With the switch all the way up it turns on all of the interior lights. I rarely ever farm out work that I can do myself, and replacing this switch is very simple and straight forward in my '97 Jeep ZJ LTD. Now if they only hadn't buried the heating|A/C unit behind the entire dash.

Knobs and slider felt really cheap, no notches to let you know when you have flipped to another setting. It worked and no more lights blinking but recommend another brand. Hopefully it last 20 years like the original.

It replaced my stock headlight switch ( grand cherokee 98, Zj, V8,5.2L), after two months of use without any problem

Kinda surprised this product is even made.Its nice to have a new option other than the 5 used ones i tote around in the hatch . I can see they tried on this and everything works great but my foglight button doesn't cut off. They are replacing it and I will come back and update this in the future.

So far so good. Solved the problem and the price was great. Standard is a long respected auto parts company, and I am happy I was able to purchase that brand. Perfect fit for my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

For over 3 years my dash lights in my 96 Grand Cherokee flashed on and off, mostly off, and after buying this new switch and installing it in about 45 minutes (see YouTube) I can drive at night with now problems. An exact fit replacement part.

Good to go. It was nice that the AUTO works even though my stock original did not even have that option! The only negative is there is no "stop" or "click" when engaging the interior lights on the slide lever- not a big deal but the stock ones have it.
