Assembly needs two people ---- at least until you get the back and two side panels slid into the grooves of the upright posts/corners.After some minutes of "No. Hold it up straight. Nope. That's the wrong end. Look out: It's not quite sliding in there right," monkeying around, all went well. The directions aren't as explicit as they could be.Once assembled, you feel a real sense of achievement and . . . Wow . . . this unit looks REALLY GOOD.We set it up on concrete stepping stones/pavers with the inner core (where the metal isn't touching soil) left bare earth. The sow bugs, earwigs, earthworms, ants etc. are going to be so happy.This bin isn't as large as the plastic one we're going to have to trash (the clips are all broken). The details on Amazon state "82 dry gallons," but the assembly instructions page reads "12.8 cu. ft., approximately 10 bushels." 10 bushels = 93 gallons. All I know is, we're happy with the looks and capacity of this bin.We hestitated purchasing this bin in blue, since we planned to install it in our front yard. Blue was the right choice. It looks KILLER, and is a great addition (aesthetics-wise) to the garden.Upon unpacking the bin parts, we did discover one panel had a dent at the top (see photo #1), but no big deal. The dent is at the top back and out of sight.Only one minor gripe: The lid can be a bit fussy, until you get the hang of it. At first I couldn't clip it down, but then realized I just had to make sure it was slid back all the way and "hunkered down" into the correct position, prior to closing/clipping down.***Bottom access panel is super easy to use. Oh Happy Day.***We love this bin. Already have it 1/3 full, having moved "unfinished" compost from the old plastic bin.Do the right thing and don't buy plastic composters for your garden. Metal is the way to go.Buy It in Blue and Happy Composting.P.S. (That's not the order in which I loaded the photos. The dent is minor; nothing of note.)

This is a well built unit that I expect will last for many years. The bin can be assembled by one person, but purchasers would be well advised to take the manufacturer's suggestion that it be assembled by two individuals. The assembly instructions are not nearly as clear as I would have liked, but once you get the gist of it, assembly should be fairly easy.The bin is perhaps a bit pricey, but as noted above, it is solidly built and should last for many years. I highly recommend it.Happy Composting!!

Surprised by ease of assembly, clarity of instructions because of other reviews. Took 2 senior ladies less than 1/2 hour to assemble.. Instructions clear enough. Very sturdy with high quality coating on panels. Haven't made compost yet, if works well, I'll change to 5 stars.

We spent less than half an hour to put the bin together. . It’s a perfect size for us.

Flimsy when unassembled. Panel welds were not cleaned and had to be filed for panels to slide. Top chipped and hinges were bent. One hinge had no hardware. Bottom door hinges were not lined up. One doesn't latch at all. I had tools to fix and rustproof spray on paint on hand. Iwould have sent the piece of junk back but didn't want to waste gas to drop it off or anymore time on it.
