You need to find and buy the antenna as well as expansion board
I decided to try these after using the Particle.IO boards. This board is sweet! But the frustrating part is I had to find a different US vendor to buy the antenna and expansion board. Not a deal breaker just annoying have to wait for parts from two different vendors. The documentation for this is a little confusing and it is not easy to tell the status of the board. The on board RGB Led isn't programmed to provide you any clues on if it is in safe boot mode, etc...However, after about 4 hours of struggle I managed to succeed in getting it programmed to be a LoRa Gateway. Using MicroPython is quite a treat coming for C based micro controllers.
