they are cute, but That's about it.They're not leak proof, because the seal is very flimsy, weak, brittle plastic that's not going to last.Not easy to clean. I tried to clean one...by hand, as I didn't trust the plastic in the dishwasher. The interior is bumpy, with grooves, like the outside. If you put anything sticky in these jars, you're gonna have a hard time cleaning it out.Not airtight. When I was washing one for the 1st time, I filled it up with water then I put the lid on and turned it upside down. Water leaked.Waited hours for it to air dry, but it still had water inside the rim and the plastic. Any other jar would have been dry. I used a paper towel to finish drying, then still waited overnight before I filled it with pumpkin seeds. Still uncertain that it was bone dry. But I figured I'd eat the seeds in a few days, so...Btw, It holds just over one cup of seeds.I would not put seeds in here long term. Air will get in and make them rot. I ate seeds from the jar about 2-3x/day, to test the jar. Easy to open, but on morning of day 3, I noticed that the plastic was cracked. :-( Nope...not sturdy.I like that the jars are easy to open. There, I found 2 things I like. If you like the old candy jars that you have inherited...the ones without working seals anymore...you might like these. They might be cute on a shelf, holding buttons or ribbons. But if you want to actually store FOOD in them...no.

These arrived sturdily packaged and intact. They are beyond cute! I can't wait to fill each one with its own spice and then label it. These would make a perfect gift, as a set, for a housewarming; or each individual jar would be welcomed as a gift if filled with homemade jam, or candies, etc. Would also be great for storage of buttons or sea shells or cotton balls. Really, they're just so cute and have a variety of uses. Don't hesitate to buy these.

This item turned out to be better then I thought. They are bigger then what I thought they would be. I overall think the look great in my kitchen for my spices. I’ve even ordered more. Great product, great price!

The jars are super cute and I love that they come with the twine, name cards, and spoons. The only thing I'm bummed about is that one of my jars was shattered in the box. I do not have time to return the package and wait for an exchange. They might want to package a little better.

Like the quality, style, aesthetic design, its really airtight but the first look tells me that opening could be a hassle for everday use as spice jars- two bottle arrived broken
