I ordered a yoga mat in green. It mat comes in the color depicted in the description, which is bright and very appealing. The mat came rolled inside a box, with the elastic stripes, which are reliable and useful.In comparison with previous mat I owned, I consider the length of this mat might be too long, since I am only 5'2" I don't need that "extra," but is nothing that affects the functionality of the mat. The mat spends most of the time rolled, so sometimes, because if the length, part of the mat remains folded where I am using it. Nothing dramatic that cannot be resolved leaving the mat unrolled for a couple of days. I did it and now is just fine. I also noticed the mat is thicker than my old one, which is great if you want more comfort on the knees or while doing difficult poses.The material is really good and it does'n't have any synthetic smell. At first, the surface felt a bit slippery, but that must be because I get really sweaty while I am doing my yoga practice.Overall, the material and the traction are very good considering the price, which was really good. I would recommend this mat to a person to beginners, or persons who doesn't sweat that much!

I purchased two of these mats for my boyfriend and myself to kick off our stress-reducing New Year's resolution. Holy moly are these great!! Perfect weight - not too thin or too thick. The mat offers the perfect amount of cushion for aching joints and awkward yoga positions while also providing you a non-skid surface. My dog also loves to lay on it while I'm doing yoga which may seem irrelevant to most, but he's very picky about the softness of his seating choice! All in all, fantastic value. I've seen several mats that are more expensive and not as quality - the carry strap is a bonus, as well! Top notch.

Ok. So Grip on this mat is fine. No complaints about that. The quality of the materials seems good enough and I have no doubt that it would hold up to use quite well. Where it really didn't work for me was doing things like broken table pose and started putting a lot of weight on my knee. I am a 6'2" 215lb male and the amount of weight that got put on my knee this mat just didn't provide enough cushion to make comfortable. I work out on a hard wood surface and this mat would likely not have the issue I complain about on carpet or a softer floor. For the money id say its an adequate beginner mat but you would be well served to spend more and get a good quality mat if you plan on practicing yoga long term. That said I am happy that I have this one as a backup if my main mat ever has issues or I end up losing it at the gym.

I use this yoga mat for Bikram with a towel on top of it and it works good. The only thing that I would change is the thickness of it. The mat folds well and has survived the intense heat and travel.

I wanted to have one mat to keep in my car to use at classes and one at home. I was excited when this arrived on Friday and immediately opened it up to do a yoga video on YouTube. I was excited for my new mat especially since it was almost double as thick as my other one. Well, turns out that was misleading. Something about it, density maybe?, means that the thickness doesn't cushion at all! My wrists were killing me in every downward dog and the next morning my knees were bruised from simple cat/cow poses. Plus, the mat was more slippery than any yoga mat I had ever used. Such a disappointment, I wish that I could return it, but there was no way to know how bad it was before using it. Maybe I'll use it as a picnic mat on grass in the future, but definitely not for yoga.

I never had tried yoga before, but from what I am gathering from fellow yoga classmates, this is a steal!!! This mat does not slip, is just enough cushion for someone with a bad knee(s) from past sports, and is so much more affordable than name brand mats. Easy to clean with a wipe and easy to store. Beware that the mat will of course have little pieces come off if you use it outside with sticks or rocks, but I would still buy this again.

I use this every morning. Besides the tiny chunks my roommate's cat took out of it, it has been serving me well for close to a year.

Seems to be of good quality, like the color, like that it rolls back up and has a slide over strap for carrying.
