It’s neat but not awesome
Interesting set for my tech 8 year old. He had snap circuits before, so this is the next step up.Be careful, because the components get hot with the battery connected. So disconnect when finished.Also 2 of the lightbulbs in the kit were broken when the product arrived, and there were poor connections on some of the components. Others needed adjusting. I’d recommend looking the kit over and supervising at first.Is it worth the money? I guess, if you have a basic understanding.The alternative power sources are neat and quickly interchangeable.You could go to harbor freight and get more parts to either enhance this set, or build your own.All in all, my son gets it out each day and packs it up in the carry case when he’s done. The instruction booklet could include more photos besides a few introductory photos of the projects.I wouldn’t buy again, but it’s interesting enough and the price is a littler higher than the value.Hope this helps.

Not good
I bought this product for my son’s birthday and it was a bit flimsy. He played with it for 1 1/2 weeks but not that much. He broke 2 parts and we returned it.

Breaks easily
You get a lot of stuff, but it's pretty cheap quality. It broke pretty quick. So not really worth the cost unless you are super careful.

Great kit for 4H electricity project
This kit worked well for performing experiments and building circuits for my son's 4H electricity project. The components were easy to work with and assemble. The book that was included was just okay. It definitely could have provided more instructions and circuit ideas. Overall, this is a great kit for kids beginning to learn about electricity and circuits.

Amazing circuit kits!
I purchased this item originally from a crowdfunder campaign at last year. My 10 year old son like it very much. He even spends hours exploring the experiments. Sometimes I will play with him, I found the manual of kits is very detailed, which introduces various basic circuit experiments and magnetic knowledges. The kit includes more than 50 parts, more than 200 experimental projects can be designed. We made a lemon battery together and explored the principle of the motor etc. Amazing !

Physical electromagnetic basic learning and STEM kits
This electromagnetic lab kits are an amazing! My students are very interested in these experiments. It's an excellent kit for learning and understanding the science behind electricity and magnetism. The included experimental manual also gives brief but concise explanations. Easy to explore and learn more than 50 experiment project for this kids. Fruit battery, electromagnet, generator, electric bell, magnetic field, Ohm's law, Oster experiment etc. Great STEM kit!
