These are quite bright, as expected. The lens on the larger Q5 projects it a fair distance -- keep that in mind that if you install it behind another lens. The side lights are reasonably bright. Pay attention to the dimensions are these are quite large. I'm not sure what the connector on the end is supposed to fit, but it didn't fit 'out of the box' in either of the sockets I tried to use it in -- one which it should have. After messing with one, I removed the entire connector assembly from one and soldered in a connector which fits on a short whip of cable and fashioned a clamp mount where I needed it. That worked pretty well so I charged ahead on the other one, only to have it immediately blow a fuse. coming back to the bench I found that one was defective and has an internal short. Can't return it now as I modified it before testing! I think the product is probably a 4 star + unit, but the odd fitting connector and lack of a technical drawing outlining the exact dimensions costs it a star.

I ordered a set of these a few months back and installed in a customers Marauder, he couldn't of been happier and neither could I have been. I have since ordered a 2nd set of the same bulb set, one of the CREE LED flashes like a strobe light when powered up while the other base of the bulb to the SMD LED's is completely loose and you can see arching as the surrounding 12-SMD LED's light up and power off. I have requested a replacement. I wish I would of waited for these to be on 'PRIME' as I would of got a replacement by the weekend. See if ELITE lighting steps up and sends me a replacement pair ASAP or if they make me jump through hoops.Lesson is to always order directly through AMAZON PRIME when possible.Also I noticed I have not had this issue with the 7W CREE LED lamp that is very similar sold by CUTEQUEEN, I hope ELITE steps up as I do like the 11W version much more.

I bought tail light assembly with out knowing that the reverse light lens was darker. So when using the normal bulb I could not see anything behind my truck at night while in reverse. I tried other led lights but quickly realized that I need something more powerful. These have one of the most strongest directional light point straight back at 8 watts. And they work! I can now see behind the truck despite the darken lens. I can only imagine if I had a clear lens they would light up like low power head lights. I will purchase more.

I bought these as back up lights for my 06 F250 and they fit perfectly and function as advertised. In fact they work very well. The reason for my rating is the lights I received do not look like the picture. The ones I received have black trim instead of the polished aluminum trim shown. I have aftermarket lenses in which the backup bulb is clearly visible and thought the metallic trim would look good. It's the reason I chose these over the many others(mostly cheaper) available. Not worth the hassle and fees to return.

These were easy to install and are definitely exponentially brighter than my normal bulb, but I still have trouble seeing behind me and I'm not sure it was worth the purchase.The bulbs themselves are very bright and seem well made. I've had them for a few months with no issues in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler.

These are advertised as bright and they are that. Color is accurate as well. The radial mounted LEDs help fill the reflector housing instead of just being forward directional only.UPDATE: I was using these in my DRL on my 2004 Chevy Silverado. They basically fell apart and quit working about 6 months after installing. I don't know if it was a combination of the heat put off by the LEDs combined with the Texas summer heat but they did not hold up.

I bought these because right after I bought my new 2013 Ford Focus ST Turbo, I did a window tinting. The rear glass is darker than my front driver and passenger windows, so my visibility out the rear was severely diminished (especially at night). So to make things safer for night backing, I ordered these to replace my stock bulbs. Man, what a difference! They give off so much light. Plus, with the clear lenses of the factory taillight housing, the metal ridges around the CREE led add some style too. You won't go wrong with these!

Used as backup lamps, works great, definitely brighter than stock lamps. Really helps with actually being able to see obstacles and the road. No issue with physical size.
