My favorite menstrual cup
I’ve tried a few different menstrual cups and this is my favorite. It’s much easier to remove than others I’ve tried.

Wish I tried this sooner!
I ordered this cup after doing some research and I am more than happy with the results thus far. I have only used it for a little less than 24 hours though, so my feelings may change but as of now I am thrilled!I have heavy periods, would use 4-6 super tampons in a 12 hour period, and don’t get me started about having to change tampons when you urinate because the string would soak up urine…with this cup, I don’t have to worry about that!I feel my hygiene during my cycle has improved with this. I’m experiencing less painful cramping and love the idea of not using tampons with toxins and carcinogens, and creating less waste! After my cycle, depending on how the rest of it goes, I may order a couple more!I wore it over night for my first try, and no leaking! I would typically wear a super plus tampon, and 2 pads to bed and still bleed through, but this morning - no bleeding through!Absolutely happy with this purchase.Edit: soon after I posted this review, I had bled through. Granted I was using this for the first time on a heavy day. I ended up having to empty the cup twice within a matter of 12 hours. I bled through my pants, at work :( I tried wearing the cup that night as my flow had lightened but I felt it was uncomfortable, or could have been just knowing I had it inserted. I did buy the smaller cup as it was my first time trying one of them, could have also contributed to the bleed through, etc. I did have a good first experience with it, I will try it again for my next cycle, but will definitely be wearing reusable period underwear “just in case.” I will update my review after next cycle to see if I have better luck with it.

A Learning Curve, but Absolutely Worth It
Using a menstrual cup definitely takes some getting used to—you have to be open to understanding your body and prepared for things to get a little messy the first few times. But by the third month, I truly got the hang of it and now I wouldn’t go back. It’s comfortable, reliable, and has saved me so much money. Plus, it feels good to make a choice that’s better for the environment.

Great for people who have issues with regular cups
Okay, i’m not someone who writes reviews, but I would have loved someone to detail a few things I just had to figure out on my own. First, i tried the regular period cup that doesn't really have anything to hang onto and it was damn near impossible for me to remove, scaring me enough to avoid using one for 3 years. Second, i HATE tampons in the pool, i find that they absorb water and then leak into my clothes. So I was really trying to find an alternative for that and in general if I liked it. This product is awesome, the pull tab is a must. I gave it 4 stars only because insertion can be a bit tricky just because the cup obviously doesn't want to be folded which when in, is a good thing. Also its a learning curve in regards to how much you need ti change it depending on the stage of your period. Some people say they can change these in public, I COULD NEVER. So if your having a heavy day and wont be home for an extended period, I would say maybe go your traditional route.

good for beginners!!!
to preface, this is the first and only cup i’ve used so i have no idea how it compares to others. but i really love it! i got the small version because i have never given birth and my flows are pretty average. my thoughts:1. (pro) it can hold overnight. it’s best to wear a liner/pad in the beginning of your cycle if you are just starting out, but if you have used a cup for a while, you are likely able to tell when to change based on experience.2. (pro) it really is mess free! the tab completely breaks the seal and can be pulled from there. it can hurt at the beginning if you only pull from the tab, but after a few times it becomes routine and you do not notice.3. (pro) you do not feel or smell anything at all! kind of self explanatory.4. con) i was caught off guard by the fact that it shifts. i’m not sure if this is just a me thing, but the cup will suddenly shift inside when i sit, stretch, or any other random movement. nobody told me about this so it caught me very off guard, but this only happens once after inserting and it is also something you get used to.5. (neutral) you are not really able to measure your flow as easily as you would with a traditional pad or tampon. when you take a potty break, you are physically able to see if a pad or tampon is full, but with the cup you have to pull it out and see. it’s not a big deal at all for me, but if you are tracking through an app or such you will have to adjust to a new way of measuring.6. (neutral) you must boil it periodically. this one’s for my lazy, dorming, or roomating-having menstruators. it is not something you should be ashamed of (or avoid doing)! it is a little inconvenient in these situations though.7. (neutral) the storage bag is so cute. i label this as neutral because don’t take it anywhere with me, the cup lasts all day so i don’t have a particular reason to, but it’s one of those things you just love to see. like getting a pretty bottle of shampoo — nobody sees it besides you, but you feel nice getting it!!overall i do recommend this cup solely for its mess-free design. like everyone says, there is definitely a learning curve but this cup is great as a first. i don’t know how keen i would be about a cup if not for the pull tab. it is a little of a hefty price considering how cheap cups CAN be, but it is definitely worth the price & pays for itself over time considering it is a one time purchase and lasts for years. better for the environment as well. i love it!
