Easy to grow, tastes fabulous!My son loves watermelons so we wanted to try out a different variety to grow in the garden, and we were really happy with the Yellow Doll.

Small melon, average sweetness!
You will only get an average of one melon per vine with Yellow Doll. The vines are semi-short. If you have some room, I would plant a sweeter melon even if the vines are longer.

Seems to be a quality control problem
Somebody in the manufacturing process is not paying attention to what they are doing. I ordered these, planted 'em, they came up, they grew, everything going along swimmingly. Finally ready to pick, and lo and behold, red watermelons. Tasted ok, but not the crispy sweetness of yellow varieties.

Not sure why, but it never grew for me. Maybe its the soil, so I cannot give it a bad review.
