this is like the the material used on cars
this is like the the material used on cars. it hold lots of water. i mainly use mine before i go to work. i soak it with water, let a little bit of it out and put it around my neck and leave for work. i live in phoenix and i dont like to go into work slightly sticky, so i wear this on my drive to work. keeps me a whole lot cooler, it almost makes me forget it is summer. and this is coming from a guy that says 105f is nice weather.

Product misrepresentation
I ordered this item based on reviews and description. I ordered 2 of them actually..When I received them today they were not as described..size in order description was 31x13..they both we only approx 6 inches wide..I would not have ordered had I known this and feel like there was a misrepresentation of the product..I will be contacting Amazon customer service to return and refund. I rechecked and copied description to make sure I had not misread.
