Every detail on this parka from the Waterproof - Breathable Shell Fabric to the Polar Loft Insulation, to the Zipper, has been selected with the express goal of designing the Ultimate Woman’s Waterproof Coat. The shape has been cut so as to flatter every figure, and our 1X -3X size range have been cut on a pattern specifically for these sizes – not just an extension of the Small-Large range (please check your measurements against our Size Guide for an assured custom fit). The Polar Loft insulation is impervious to being affected by the wet or humidity, and will maintain its warmth in any situation. The 2-way front zipper closes all the way up to the top of the neck – while allowing you to adjust it to fit a scarf. The bottom zips up if you need extra room while sitting or driving. Storm cuffs with thumb-hole keep out rain and wind, and allow you to easily place the cuff inside a glove or mitt. A storm placket under the front zipper prevents wind from getting through, while protecting your neck from “Zipper Bite”. All zippers are Waterproof, and all Seams are Taped to keep out the rain and elements. This coat will become your go-to piece of outerwear for all but the warmest months of the year.

Good coat, really big, not tapered at the waist
This is a decent coat for the price, but the sizing is big. I bought the small and medium; the small was a size too big in the body but fine in the shoulders and sleeve. I am 5'8" and 135 pounds. It is too wide through the waist and also has too much fabric down the front of the coat lengthwise, so it hits your legs and neck and puffs out around your stomach. It's a relatively square shaped coat. Otherwise it's comfortable, light insulation (good for 55, maybe 50 if you're not from the South), and well constructed.

Best winter coat ever!
I was a little apprehensive ordering a coat on line. The reality is that this is the BEST WINTER COAT I've ever owned. So far, we've had very cold weather, but I'm always nice and warm. I ordered for the bottom (car coat) zipper and am not disappointed. Wish I had ordered 2!

Nice coat
Have worn this a few times already. Not winter warm but roomy enough for a sweater underneath. Haven’t tried it in heavy rain yet. Looks good
