Underwhelming. Needs better designed features to function well.
Bought this for just the outside chance that it would function for my needs. That is, to sit in a bird bath and spray water for the birds during the daytime. It does not. Firstly. Clip attempting to hold the pump onto the bottom of the circular solar panel housing is insufficient. The pump falls off many times while reattaching and there is no gasket between outflow of the top of the pump and the bottom side of the solar panel housing. It loses water pressure at this juncture, for sure. The suction cups on the bottom of the pump housing are wimpy and cannot hold the whole fountain unit in the place you want it. And this is with smoothly glazed ceramic bird bath. So, it drifts with the winds and so sprays all of the bird bath water out of the bath, since it's fetched up on the downwind curve of the bird bath, until the bird bath is drained to below the pump intake. Second. The solar panel does NOT operate to power the pump unless you have DIRECT FULL sunlight. High cloud overcast. Nada. Slightly, intermittent, shading. NADA. Morning sun. Nope. Late afternoon sun. Same - NADA. ONLY direct overhead sun works. And you CANNOT have any ONE of the radial segments of the solar collector covered by any debris or finger or shadow, because they are SERIALLY connected, apparently, and if one radial rectangle of solar collection is compromised, the whole unit does - PFFFT. There is also NOT 'battery component' whereby the solar collector stores in the battery energy to be able to power through intermittent shade, a human finger over one radial unit, an overpassing cloud, etc. Did not work long enough or often enough for me to evaluate how the sieve on the pump excluded debris collecting in the bird bath from blocking the inflow or outflow of the pump or the outflow of the various nozzles. So, if you can AVOID all of these obstacles, you might be satisfied. I can see this being used in a swimming pool or large pond or similar, but it's too puny to many much of an effect/statement/interest. I'd use some yellow rubber ducks.

Great for birdbaths
Started up right out of the box. So powerful the sprays all shoot out of even the large concrete bird bath, so I just use the tube, no nozzle,as a bubbler and it works great. This smaller glass bath has a raised center (had a solar light underneath) and the suction cups hold the fountain very firmly in place. I placed a few rocks in the concrete bath to keep it centered in that one as obviously concrete isn't smooth enough for suction cups.It does only work in direct sunlight. When overcast or late in the day it reduces to occasional 'bloops' of water before stopping altogether. The bloops keep the water from complete stillness, so it works well for such an inexpensive fountain.

Works fine, but......
This unit does not have a battery so it only works in direct sunlight. I did not install the spray caps it came with because it shoots the water too high and leaves the bird bath. The pump won't stay attached to the unit so I had to use a large rubber band to secure it. The price was right and it has been gurgling away every day since we bought it. Over all I am pleased with the unit because I was not expecting top of the line products at the lowest price. I've had to clean the pump out once so far because of debris, and it worked fine again.

Pump works great. Nice and strong in the sun. Do not expect the suction cups to hold it in place.
Forget that suction cup on the bottom. Never stays stuck. This will free float around. Wish it didn't because I'd like to use the spray tips, but all the water would spray out with it just floating around. Sigh. Never the less, I do not use any tips and in full sun this shoots a good foot into the air, so i pretry much like it overall.

Beautiful!
My back yard get sun all morning and this fountain is perfect to keep the birds coming and taking a bath during the hot summer mornings, the sound the water makes is very relaxing and pleasurable, it is very simple to install, just on top of a bird bath is like the super best, however you can also improvise by using a big plate, tray or any nice looking container in which you can place this fountain , it is free standing too! it is very nice to place inside the pool as well, I bet children would have lots of fun with it! It is solar so you do not need battery and you do not need to plug it! Cheers!

Fun to watch the birds enjoy it.
Really like this and the birds love it. I put it in a large glass bowl and filled it with water. I need to change the water every week as the birds get it so dirty. Needs to have it covered completely with water. They need direct sun to keep bubbling. I don’t use the fountain tips as it squirts the water out of the bowl and it bubbles nicely to keep the water circulated without the tips. Would I buy more, yes!

Fun bubbler
I am very happy with my solar fountain. I tried all the nozzles and like the bubbler best. I would buy this again if I every had another need.

Works very well in bird bath.
This is my second fountain like this and they work amazingly well. First one lasted a couple of years. I have it in a concrete bird bath and it looks great. Sometimes if the sun is really strong the water will shoot up 2 feet high and out of the bird bath! Only works in direct sunlight, does not store energy, Overall, very nice for a minimal price.
