Works as well as any generic.
Since I have an undiagnosed "bug" (cannot get test in my area), I've been using generics of Mucinex DM to treat the cough and subsequent fluid from this "bug" I've caught mid March 2020 while in Frisco TX ans surrounding areas.This medication works just fine as any other generic with this formulation. I am pleased with the efficacy of ValuMeds Mucous and Cough liquid capsules.Cons: size is quite large and if swallowing capsules is difficult for you, I do not recommend. Perhaps a liquid formulation would be best. It also does seem to take some time before it kicks in so plan doses accordingly.I took 3x a day. My lungs are still not 100% however I am able to keep them clear with this medication, regular steam showers and deep breathing exercises. I'm 58 and immunosuppressed.

Not as strong as some name brands and on the large side.
They work but are big and could be hard to swallow.

Pills are huge
These pills are liquid so you can't break them in half and their huge.I am older and live alone and afraid to try one ..the pills ARE way to big ..not sure what to do with them ...just beware of the size ..

impossible to swallow
I bought these thinking that it would be easy to swallow since it was in softgel form...not so much. These are huge. I would not recommend for anyone that has difficulty swallowing large pills.

I feel uncomfortable using this product, seems to be unsafe!
The product came with a sticky label stating it is extended release and with different dosage than stated on the box. What is the correct dosage?

Got here on time
My shipment arrived on time. As for it being effective, either my cold and cough is worse than I thought, or theses stress not doing the job..

the only problem is the size.
The price is great and the product does what it says it does, but I had much difficulty swallowing them. After trying my best to take them I just gave up. I gave the product a 3 because it just doesn't work for me. I am sure if you are comfortable swallowing large pills you will be happy with the product.

Great value and does the job
Great product works as it should. Opening the blister pack is an aggravation but all blister packs are. The mediation works great and was a great value
