They were much brighter the only problem is the clip would not flip over the hole of the new housing so they’re just floating

Major improvement!
These lights are great! The LED makes a huge difference from the stock lights. They are way brighter and since they are LED, they will last a lot longer than normal bulbs. As said in the description, these lights are white in color and are not an off blue like many other aftermarket lights. This can also be seen in the pictures. The install was very simple as well. Overall great buy!

2019 Subaru Crosstrek
Installed these in my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. It created a literal night and day difference with night driving. These light up the road very well. Even in the rain these performed well! Installation was straightforward with a few complications. The first issue is that the light "floats" in the mount bracket to make it so you can focus the beam. While this is a great idea it does also lead to difficulty in installing the bulbs. I had to remove the base from the bulb and install it first then put the bulb into the mount. Not a huge deal on the Subaru but if you are working with limited space this could cause an issue.The cooling fan is really quiet, so quiet that I'm not convinced it is working until I put my hand down to it and feel the air movement. I've installed a lot of LED headlights and these are by far the quietest and most "stable". There is no flicker that I tend to associate with LED budget conversions.On an unrelated note on LED's in general. If you live in an area that snows, these do not produce the heat like conventual bulbs do and therefore will not melt snow and ice off of the headlights. Over the 50+ sets of LED conversions I've done and thousands of reviews I've read this is never mentioned. It hasn't changed my opinion on converting everything I own to LED's it's just another consideration and another thing to remember especially in the winter.
