I looked everywhere for this version of the deck and I can confirm that this is it. The differences between the first edition and second is the card backs, guidebook and box. This is the version with the original card backs that have a brown design. If you are looking for the purple card backs, buy the second edition which is easier to find. The first edition guidebook is also twice the size of the second edition, but I believe all of the pages are the same in both and nothing was removed from the guidebook. The box of the second edition is much sturdier and meant for long-term use while the box of the first edition is disposable.
