Peterson Gas Logs Decorative Charred Branches Set Of 4

Great logs! First, let me say that I'm pretty picky when it comes to home decorations. I wanted to go to the local fireplace store but I just couldn't see spending $450 (granted, they did look really good and very real). I decided to take a chance based on a lot of good reviews and order these. Yes, they are smaller - but I'm going to order the other set of two larger Peterson logs or possibly one more set of these because I think 8 of them would look great. Even with both orders I'm still $300 below what I would have paid at the local fireplace store. And....they look great. Very realistic. Just as good if not better than the $450 set. I've seen a lot of these logs lately and you can get some really fake, really bad looking versions. Everyone who has seen them has to walk up closely and inspect them before they believe they aren't real. They are nice and heavy - very good quality. Now...to get my gas grate replaced so that the fire comes out of more than just one side....with some gravel and fake embers on the bottom it will look perfect.

A small but REALISTIC display! Bought these BRANCHES together with Peterson's set of pine cones, wood chips and acorns. They look AWESOME together! We installed a small gas fire pit last year on our deck and it came with 'river rock' which looked like ugly, light gray cement road apples - NOT attractive in the least! I've now replaced those ugly rocks with Peterson's "Charred Branches" and topped it off with the pine cones, wood chips and acorns! YES, it's a small display (a 16-18 inch circle) but it's absolutely PERFECT! Finally, LOVE IT!!! Grandkids were REALLY IMPRESSED and thought we were burning real branches! LOL! THAT's how 'real' they look! I'm sooo glad I read all the other review and felt confident about what to expect! The various 'branches' are 2-3 inches in diameter and about 8-14 inches long, the pine cones were 3-4 inches long; the acorns were substantial and the wood chips were 'chunks' (3-4 inches long) and about the same diameter as the branches! I 'accessorized' with some black and red fire glass that looks like hot coals when the fire's lit! Finally feeling THRILLED with the appearance of our deck fire pit!!!

These pieces rounded out the fireplace remodel and ready finished it off. The logs were a prefect match.Get customer service and shipped and delivered as promised.Highly recommend.

The logs arrived on time. They look great on the fire pit even with no fire. They look VERY good when the gas flames are on. They help retain heat which makes the fire even cozier feeling. However, they are much smaller than I was expecting. Since there was no mention of the size in the written description of the articles we had to judge by the photo. There was nothing to help judge scale so I will admit, I was disappointed. Even if I had bought two sets I would have ended up with a bigger pile of small logs. I will continue to look for more loose logs and use these to fill in. As I said, the quality is great. You can not tell them from the real thing.. just too small.

These branches are Wonderful...because I read other reviews for my electric fireplace insert...they stated that if you add a few small logs to the fireplace insert...it would make the insert look more realistic......And true to what they proclaim....this works....I love my insert now, it dosen't llook fake...it has s warn looking, fire glow to it ...I love it...Thanks for the great reviews, they do help....the logs are expensive to me, but they are solid and they look like real branches.......

This guys are cool! Because most of these products are very highly priced, I was worried these would no last very long. After 20 or so 1 hour plus fires, they look like they did day one thus why I wanted to wait a bit before posting my review. Great price too! I use mine in an outdoor propane fire pit.

Very realistic looking. A little small, but real wood isn't always stacked tall either.I just gotta hide the actual source a little better and you'd be hard pressed to see the difference from a wood burning fireplace.Also, the heat seems to radiate better now that there's something in between the flame and the chimney.

Everyone that sees them thinks thay are real in our outdoor fire pit. Mixed two of these with one order of "Peterson Gas Logs 9 Inch Oak Brances - set of 2" to fill a large 24" across round fire pit. Flames look awsome as they roll around the logs. After a year of exposure to rain and snow logs are holding up just fine.
