The last one lasted 41 years, I bet this one will too
Built like my original issued by the Air Force. Extremely tough, the switch all metal with a definite "click". Just like the original with two batteries it's not bright by today's standards, it's well worth the money to buy this AND order an LED bulb. Even comes with the color filters we used in the field to identify we were the good guys....... At least among us. I pray a day comes we don't use this, or anything else, in combat and we find a better way to solve our differences.

Old style for folks to remember the old days
This is a a tough old style military flashlight. I bought it because I used one for years when I was younger. If you want something really bright or super long lasting. This is not for you. But if you want to remember the "good" old days, yeah get one.

Good, solid flashlight for the price. Just change the bulb!
This flashlight is just what the parapsychologist ordered, perfect for my Ghostbusters costume. The one issue I've found is that the lightbulb is a bit dull.Lenses are held in the lower cap of the flashlight, the one you remove to insert batteries. May not be immediately apparent.Another thing that may not be immediately apparent is the fact that the flashlight has three power settings. Off, On but you have to press the push-button to turn the light on, and On.The bulb is weak, there's no doubt about that. It's a small, incandescent bulb. But it's fairly easy to replace the bulb with a new one, as the entire light fixture can be removed from the flashlight. It does take some effort to insert the batteries. I recommend you do this on a hard surface, as the spring is strong and doesn't like to compress when you close it with batteries inside.

Cheaply made! Not worth the price.
Construction is not very good. Colored lenses are scratched. Gaskets are nicked and plastic not rubber. Lots of rough edges. For a supposed name brand it’s not very good quality for the price at all. You can find significantly better lights for less.

Great Value for the Money
Replaced my original military flashlight when I left my military light 750 miles away from home. Works just fine.

Part of my emergency backup kit
Good durable flashlight. Converted it to LED. Even though I call it part of my backup kit, I do use it around the house too

Exact replica
Good memories of post WWII. My Dad brought this home from the Army and gave it to me … I wore it out but still have it! This exactly like it!

Pretty cool!
Nice flashlight for the price, just need to change the bulb to an LED which would cost more then the flashlight itself but this style light isn't as common so there aren't many options except to pay for the LED upgrade
