My search for a start has ended with this book. It was recommended to me and after reading the comments I decided to go with it and make the purchase. I am truly glad that I did. From the very beginning it details the basics that one needs to succeed in mastering Hydroponics. It does not get more simple and straightforward then this. Must read if you are serious about Hydroponics.

There are multiple grammatical errors; almost as if someone attempted to translate this from another language. There are no visuals what so ever; nothing to 'show' the reader about the topic being discussed. No examples.

I purchased this book based on the great reviews. THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE MOST CERTAINLY FAKE:1. The Author did not proof-read. The book is littered with incorrect usage of very common words. This leads me to believe that someone outsourced the writing of this book2. The content doesn't go to any level of detail. It is basically a dictionary of common hydroponics terminology.3. I purchased and finished reading this "Ultimate Guide" in about 20 minutes. I feel like I know nothing about hydroponics.DO NOT BUY.

There were several spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. There were no pictures or diagrams. Theres more information on wikipedia for Hyrdroponics than this book. Beginner shouldnt mean lacking in information. It should mean easy to understand. Which this is not due to the errors I found.

The order came on time and in perfect condition. I was a bit disappointed because I thought the book would give me step by step detailed instructions as to starting and sustaining a hydroponic garden. It just gave an overview.

I thought this was a good intro to hydroponics. Someone complained in a review about the language style but I didn't find anything distracting. I think most areas of concern to most people are covered and in a way that is easily understandable. It is not long but full of information for anyone thinking of establishing an actual hydroponic system. Start small is my advice.

This "book" more like an oversized pamphlet has a few basic tidbits about hydroponics. If you are looking for something to help you actually PLANT a hydroponic garden you should look somewhere else. This isn't a guide for beginners because it doesn't guide you to begin anything. A far more accurate title would be "A Description of Hydroponics" because that is all it is. There is no practical gardening information contained in this book.

If by ultimate beginners guide the author means briefest guide then it about right.Don't bother with this book, it only skates over the surface of Hydroponics and has no substance.Pay more and get a proper book.
