This is an amazing product that I will use all over the house. I was apprehensive when it arrived because there is little written documentation. All the documentation is on line, which is actually much better than printed documentation. The product functioned exactly as advertised with only pleasant surprises. The cell phone app was easy to download and easy to attach to the lights. It controls the color and brightness smoothly. The maximum brightness is about the same as the 70 watt fluorescent light that it replaced. The product draws 22 watts at maximum brightness and 1 watt in standby mode. The light quality is very pleasant.The light is also fun. Everyone can play with the color settings and have an opinion on which color is best.

I was at first a little skeptical of just how bright the bulb would be, it's color options and how well the wifi communication would be. I first used it in my hotel room as I dislike the color and intensity of hotel lighting. I was very pleasantly surprised! The intensity was more than I expected and the bulb dimmed perfectly. The colors and response time between the app and the bulb were on par and the bulb connected and continues to connect very quickly and easily every time.I bought two more recently and will soon test them on my film set to see if there is any flickering through out the dimming stages. If there's no flickering I plan to buy a box of the brighter 80 watt PRO RGB+WHITE bulbs along with the WIFI LED strip light.

 I purchased this bulb for a nightlight in my sons room. I am thoroughly impressed. Controlling it through my phone is an added plus to many. We forget to turn off his light each morning so this will help me do that when he comes out to greet me. Anywayyy. This bulb is so cool! He loves picking the color he wants to see each night and thinks it’s pretty cool that he can see a rainbow of colors that change automatically. I think this feature helps him fall asleep just watching the colors fade out.It’s not just a bulb with colors though either, you can choose music to add to a color or pattern you like! It’s awesome to play something for him as he goes to sleep and be able to control it from my phone.The app is very easy to use and I’ve not had any problems with that either.I will be buying more, quality and features are great.

Google Home and IFTTT Compatible. Affordable yet really cool... My son and I fight over changing the lights from Blue to Red... Works with the Magic Home Android App. Had to use some super glue to install this under my counters, but didn't expect the self adhesive to 100% work with press-board upside-down...

I was looking for strip lights that would mimic the sunrise. While this had amazing features and a zillion options I never could get a sunrise or sunset out of it. I had to send it back.

Very easy to link to app, easy to install and they work great so far. Great alternative to pricier name brand smart lights.

This is so cool. I love these new technologies. You download an app then connect it to Alexa. The different colors and dim features are awesome. I want to smart bulb my whole house now!

I love these bulbs. It is a bit more expensive than a traditional LED bulb (you get just one for the price you can get a pack of at least two depending on the brand), but once it is set up it is much more useful than a regular bulb. It has a sunrise and sunrise and sunset feature that will automatically dim or illuminate the bulb in the morning and at night. It makes it much easier for your eyes to adjust to the light or the dark. Unlike a bulb in a smart plug that you can set to turn on or off at certain times, it does not blast at full brightness or make the room pitch black immediately. For example, you can set the bulb transition from 0% brightness to 50% brightness in a half hour. Or from 0% to 100% brightness in 10 minutes. You can also schedule timers to just turn the bulb on and off at certain times so they are on when you get home or turn off when you go to work.They also work with devices like Amazon echo units, so you can turn the bulbs on or off with a voice command. If you have more than one bulb, you can set them as a group in the Alexa app and have all the bulbs in the group turn on or off at one time. They are pretty easy to install, assuming you are pretty good at connecting devices to your Wi-Fi network. You do need to download the Magic Home app and walk through the setup process. One thing to know, you need to have the lamp you plug it into already turned on when you screw the bulb in. Then the bulb will blink which tells you that it is discoverable to your network. If you screw the bulb in, then turn the lamp on, the bulb may not be discoverable by your Wi-Fi network. Once the bulb is set up, you just leave your lamp on and let the bulb turn on and off.I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes smart home devices. If you are technophobic though, setting it up will probably make you go mad. Once it is set up, even if you are not all that technologically inclined they are pretty easy to use. And, I have not had an issue with them having to be re-set even if my wireless network goes down. They reconnect themselves without a problem. They are definitely worth it.
