BUYER BEWARE!
Please be aware that the pictures showing the different styles do not match up with the color you get. For example click on Phantom Shad and it shows you a Loon pattern. You have no way of knowing what your lure will look like! The seller was informed but does not seem to care.

All I can say is “WOW”
If your looking to catch a large number of quality largemouth bass then you definitely want to add this lure to your tackle box. My first 4 cast with this lure produced 4 bass landed. I use a Palomar knot with 50 lb. braided line. Buy it you won’t regret it.If you find this review helpful please hit that helpful button.

Good tail action!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This thing should definitely attract some fish!

Bass slayer
This thing straight catches bass. I love it. I find the retrieve is to reel then pause then reel then pause and repeat that's what's worked for me.

Great lure, not so great hooks
This is by no means an inexpensive lure for the average bass fisherman but I have to say it is the best top water lure I have ever used. It tracks very well, creates a lot of noise and water disturbance and the main thing is it CATCHES BASS. I have caught more big bass with this lure in the past couple months than any other lure I have and believe me I have a LOT of lures. I would buy this again in a heartbeat and will be getting one or two more in the spring in different colors. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because while the lure itself is great, the treble hooks are junk and I had to replace them right away. For the price I would have expected better hooks.

this plopper lands the whoppers
Bamabass / Bamafrogs turned me on to this lure and I promptly ordered one. tried it out tonight in a farm pond and absolutely SLAYED (including the monster you see here). if you love HUGE topwater blowups, BUY THIS LURE. the color/pattern shown here is "perch". tight lines.

Vicious Strike Machine!!!
Well I finally broke down and decided to buy one of these baits. Why did I wait so long? These things are unbelievable! I fished two different lakes this weekend with the same amazing results. I have fished many different topwaters over the years, but have never witnessed strikes as violent as the one this bait produces. I don't know why bass hit this thing so hard. These baits just flat work! I have already ordered two more colors for different water conditions. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and get one or three or five. The 13 dollars was worth the memories I made this weekend. Plus best of all I can pull it out next weekend and do it all over again.

catches fish
I mainly fish the local river with the whopper plopper and catch mostly the smallmouth bass, pickerel and pike that are there. The 90 series is what I use mostly and it works great. I have tried a lot of different colors and I catch fish with all of them. My favorite is the PacMan. The 90 is a little more difficult to keep running true so the tail action works correctly and the 110 is easier to get that buzz action mostly due to its size and design. I have not tried the new 60 but I plan to for the next summer. I use slow action with some stop and go. The fish will chase it, but I like to keep it in the strike zone a little longer which is why I pause at times, especially when it first hits the water. I find that the fish will hit it within the first few seconds/feet. One of my favorite lures to go along with the buzz bait which is similar but the plopper floats vs the buzz that sinks.

What a lovely Plopper!
Having brought cheaper versions that failed to work or even plip let alone plop, this Whooper Plopper has been brilliant, it has a great function and low and high speed retrieval and I’ve not been disappointed with it. Worth even penny.

Great but I should have got the 110
Whopper Plopper's are all they are cracked up to be. I pulled in 4 little smallies on my first trip out with it. I only wish I got the 110 instead. Fish I'd any size will hit the 90, BIGGER fish will hit the 110. The 90 is a bit too light and requires a little finessing to get the action just right. I think the paddle on the 110 is a bit bigger and quicker to slap the water. One warning, these hooks are absolutely insanely sharp, like nothing I've ever used before. I had to make a trip to the hospital to have one removed. The scary part is, I didn't even feel it go in.

Mach was er soll!
Gute Verarbeitung, klasse Dekor! ;)Solider Wobbler!
