This is great, no more struggling with battery replacements! Makes the job so easy and saves a fortune on having watch batteries replaced professionally. I'm a serial watch buyer so need to use this quite a lot. Am really pleased with it! Great!

If you have the kit to replace watch batteries you should definitely have this tool too, it makes finishing the job so easy.It's sturdy, versatile and very simple to use.

In lockdown we couldn't get to a Timpson's to change our watch batteries. What to do? We didn't want the dead batteries to corrode inside the watches and ruin them. So... onto Amazon to research DIY solutions. We picked this make because it comes with the complete kit required to open the back of a watch, extract the battery, and replace the back of the watch correctly. And the reviews were good. Having opened the watch, we could see the battery type and order it from Amazon for less than £1. It arrived quickly. The kit includes something to hold the watch steady when you remove the back of it: really handy to stop slippage and finger-stabbing when simply holding it in your hand. Next there is every size of disc to match the front and back size of the watch and keep it secure in the press. It made short work of re-fitting the watch back with a satisfying little 'click', when our manual attempts had failed over and again. 5 minutes: done!We're delighted with this purchase. It has already paid for itself, and more, compared to going to T or a jeweler. SO satisfying. (And fun, too!)

Decided I was fed up with having to pay £20 every time I needed a watch battery replacing so thought I would try this having already purchased the batteries for only about 1.50..! To be honest it was easier to use than I expected and, once you have sorted the correct size adaptors, must have taken all of 30 seconds to press and click the watch cover into place - so easy!

How does this item rate so highly?? So you might be thinking, couldn't you just have screwed it back together?! I tried that, but the screw just came loose straight away and with dramatic effect. I believe that the treads have gone. Clearly the materials used are cheap. I would have paid more for a better quality unit! As for the 5* ratings... I have no idea why so many haven't experienced the same issues I have?

I bought this as I was really struggling to get the back on my wifes watch after replacing the battery. After sizing the cups up it took me 2 goes and the back was reattached. I'll take that as a win
