The buddy itself is very soft, fuzzy and adorable but as a jacket its not soft on the inside at all. This is a christmas gift for my 4.5 year old who is wearing 5/6 clothes depending on brand. In the picture I sized up the size 8 cuddlecoat to her size 6 carters jacket and there are 4 inches more at the bottom for the cuddlecoat, 1.5 inches more in the sleeve length and the sleeves are about a 1/2 inch wider. This is definitely a lightweight jacket so keep that in mind. I hope she still likes it but I foresee her liking the buddy more than the coat.

My 4 year old loves this. I think the best part for her is she can use it as a pillow or play with it as a stuffed animal. I love that it’s so convenient and because she sees it as a toy SHE will carry it! (Mom win!)It’s very comfortable to her and fits great!

My daughter is really into unicorns and stuffed animals so this was a win win scenario! She loves it! Well made, although I do have to say that I am glad I opted for the larger size as it does run small...

Bought this for my niece and she loves it! It was soft and very easy to unfold and roll back up. It’s a thinner material so it’s great for warmer climates where it doesn’t get too cold.

Perfect stuffed animal and sweater. We often take it to the movies or when traveling. She can cuddle it when she needs it or wear it when she is cold.

This was a great idea and my 5 year old loves it. However it runs soooo small! I am afraid to wash it!
