Transcendence Angled Glass Straws Extra Long 12" x 9mm 4-pack Color Tips with Nylon Cleaning Brush

Theses are straws are great. I like the fact they are long and bent. The band of color at the top of these straws is very narrow, so much so that the color is often hard to see. These straws are much longer than the straws described below. Because they are longer they should be thicker instead of thinner. These straws come with a great cleaning brush that is long and thick. I don't think these straws are made with shatter resistant Pyrex class like the thicker straws I describe below. I am still using these straws. None have broke, though they seem very fragile.The straws I am reviewing here should be thicker like the "Teenie Greenie Wide Straight Glass Straws Smoothie Milkshake 9 in x 12 mm Clear Color Tip 4 Pack, Shatter Resistant Pyrex-Glass." These thick straws come with two cleaning brushes that are too short and too skinny. The color at the top of each of these straws is prominent. These come with an excellent cleaning brush that is long and thick. I favor the Teenie Greenie straws because they are thicker and made out of better glass than the straws being reviewed. Their drawback is they are shorter and they do not have the bend of the straws being reviewed.

arrived in perfect shape, packaged well in its own box with each straw wrapped in paper and than all wrapped around a bubble wrap like plastic in box.. no cracks/etc. very nice colored tips that are part of glass instead of added on to glass like another maker's, so color area will not crack off.although these are nice for it's current $16 price for 4 and i am keeping them, i don't however particularly care for them that much. The straw is 12" but, the bend starts at 8 1/2" up, the angled out part is 3 1/2" and that's just too far out and awkward looking in a tall glass but, not too bad when inside a tall bottle with lid that has a spout. Also these are on the thinner lighter side (so much so, they spinned around in my 24oz tall glass just by simply touching glass) and unlike the heavy duty thick hummingbird glass straws i have no problem banging around because i know they won't shatter on me, i am worried these here will break easily. being someone who has mostly pyrex glass cooking ware/etc. everything in my kitchen, these just do not feel or look like quality pyrex glass to me. Still they are nice and worth its current price in the end.oh was highly impressed to get a decent long heavy duty brush with these, most send you a tiny flimsy one.

These straws are highly rated and with good reason. I'd highly recommend these for use in the elderly population to increase access to fluids, perhaps preventing dehydration concerns, and for those with hand tremors. We've all shared funny experiences with traditional plastic straws: they coast away, weave and bob, bend unintentionally, 'flicking' out the containing liquid, or have unknown cuts or slits.Mom is elderly and the substantial glass construction and weight make this straw easier for her to use. The extra length (12") is much more desirable in our deeper size thermoses and glasses. The bend in the glass straw's neck also helps her access liquids more readily. There are no plastic (bpa and waste concerns) or metal off-flavors. Each straw has a different color tip for identification. These glass straws are elegant, Mom drinks more liquids and drinking my own requisite 64 ounces of water daily is a pleasure. Highly recommended.

First let me say that I much prefer glass over plastic any day. I store food and drinks in glass containers, and in the past had bought some mason jars with a hole in the lid that came with glass straws - those straws lasted a day. I am so very happy I came across these glass straws and that they are much sturdier.I particularly like the attention to detail, namely:- The different colored tips to be able to identify your drink- The rounded edges so it is not sharp- The brush cleaner - which at first I thought was too big to fit through the straw, but once wet did a perfect job of cleaning easily- The boxed presentation, suitable for gift giving.This has been one of my favorite purchases this year.

These are terrific straws. I love them.I use them with the 24 oz. Tervis tumblers and they are perfect. I was worried about some of the straws that said they were 10" long. Although that would have cleared the top, I'm not sure if it would be too close to be uncomfortable to use them.These straws are also very sturdy. The glass is thick enough to withstand a bit of maltreatment. Yesterday I knocked one of the tumblers (with straw) off the counter and into the sink. The straw did come out of the tumbler lid, but remained intact. No cracks or chips.I mostly use them with clear liquids (iced tea, soda) and they are easily cleaned in the dishwasher with no problem. Haven't had to use the brush. However, if you are doing shakes and smoothies, you might experience protein buildup which I have no direct experience of. The brush should handle that.

I’ve been using this straw for a while now use it almost every day it’s lasted so far comes in handy especially with COVID-19 you don’t wanna be drinking from the cup when I eat out it’s nice to have my own straw I do recommend this product.

Excellent! Not thin and fragile, but feels thick and sturdy. Perfect for drinking items during the day when you can't brush, since straws allow minimum deposits on your teeth, The only think I would change is that I wish they did not have colored tips. Obviously this is so that two or more people drinking with straws at the same time can tell their drinks apart, but for just one person, I would prefer not to have any color. They didn't have clear ones in this size.
