This restraint has worked great. It is easy to use. It is easy to move from one vehicle to another. It gives the dogs room to move and lie down comfortably. I will get 2 more for the next vehicle.

We have gone through many seat belt tethers and have had and loved this one for months. It seems very sturdy and our dog has not chewed through any part of it. It feels so secure attached to the car seat anchor

These were extremely easy to install, and aren't going to accidentally come loose from the car (or truck, bought 2 sets). The other end is a locking carabiner, which has to be twisted to unlock. It took a little practice to do it with one hand, but again it isn't going to accidentally come loose. Both dogs had been free to roam in the car all their lives, but they have very quickly adapted to being restrained and are a lot safer.

Pros:This product works great and the caribeaner is easy to use and small, which is nice for people with smaller hands like myself. Also the metal parts are very studyCautionary tale:But if you have a medium size dog be careful where you attach it! I anchored it to where the seat belt buckles in and my dog stepped on it and the clip got stuck around her pad. We had to use a grinder to remove it because we could not get it off without hurting her pad. It didn't break her pad at all, so she's fine but it was really hard to get off.

I honestly don't know how or why I went so long without these safety measures for my doggies! I absolutely love the reassurance this product gives me while driving myself and my dogs around; I know where my dogs are in my car, I know they're safely tethered (to avoid being thrown around or from the car in an accident) while we are on all of our adventures, and my dogs actually really seem to like the added stability and comfort from knowing they're secure. I have two heavy-set dogs, and they're very comfortable in the car, but since using the seatbelts, they're totally new dogs! I would highly recommend this (paired with a comfortable and padded harness NOT collar) to any dog-parent; it will add security and safety for your pet, but also will help animals who are anxious about the car feel safe and stable. Buying this for all my dog-parent friends for Christmas!! :)

Received today and used briefly. It’s not advertised to be used this way, but for anyone wondering: this clip doesn’t fit around ‘22 f150’s headrest posts (if they aren’t all the same girth), even if I took it all the way out and tried to slide the clip around. Soo I simply used another carabiner (not the little flimsy, dainty kind that come on hand sanitizer bottles) to connect it to the middle headrest post and it works all the same; and that way dog can reach both windows for all the smells. Easy enough and kept him in the backseat; I can tell he needs a moment to adjust, though. I’m not sure if he’d chew it, but half of the reason I got it is to keep him in the back when I bring him along to run errands - 70pound, reactive rescue boxer who is also shedding like crazy while I figure out his food sensitivities / digestive issues. He’d undoubtedly figure out a way to slice his feet open if attached to the latch 😣

I have a 10 pound Zucon that loves to go to the store with me. I used this mostly to keep her from jumping out of the grocery cart. It still gives her enough room to stand up and look everybody over and strut her stuff!

Super sturdy strap, great clips. The locking carabiner can be difficult to unclip quickly to get your down in and out of the car. The biggest issues is the strap is too short. I have a 20lb dog and she can barely lie down on the seat from where this is clipped to the child seat anchor to the back middle of her harness. If it was 4-6" longer this would be perfect so she could sit or lie down comfortably on the backseat.

Secure. My American staffy has not been able to detach this one as it clips onto the metal that’s used for securing baby seats and the clip for the dogs harness or collar is secure. Finally.The ones that clip into the seatbelt she would pull out every time. If you have a strong dog I do recommend this. My dog is around 25-30kg & she really pulls and jumps around while in the car.Just make sure that you measure and get the correct length that you want.

Secure and good quality. Somehow didn't work with other kinds of seat belts in our car... Money worth it :)
