This item had me scratching my head wondering if I was reading the info incorrectly, at first I thought that my daughter had started to assemble it prior to bringing me on board, it turns out that its just junk, at one point I had to look back and see that I had bought a new set not a used one because the parts and pieces are missing and half of the experiments can't be completed with what comes in the set.

Had a little trouble with the delivery but overall product is great for my son. He had it open and work through experiments as soon as he obtained it. Recommended for older children above 10 years old cause of instructions for the experiments.

wow.this set is put together in a way thatis so difficult to decipher, us adultswere getting frustrated trying tohelp the little ones try some of the experiments.the manual/guidebook is uninteresting anddifficult to follow. there are fewdiagrams and a lot of text.it is as eye catching as a phone book.some of the experiments areso very boring. they should havetaken the time to narrow it down to a fewgreat experiments.we couldn't even get through 10 experiments.we couldn't believe this productwas meant for children ages 10+.the pieces are separated into bags but once theyare open, it is extremely difficult to keepall the small pieces organized.i was hoping to find a productthat had everything you need to carryout a few experiments.instead we got a bunch of junk.this set is terribly made and i amvery disappointed ... as is our little scientist.it claims it has everything you need tocarry out the experiments, but we ran intoa few that requires items that"an adult should purchase separately".please do not waste yourtime or money.this has to be the worst product i ever bought for a child.

-The instructions were horrible. I'm a scientist, and the instructions were confusing even me.-The syringe leaks. So much for determining an accurate volume.-The stick on scale for the beaker is not accurate (way off), which added to my sons confusion.-Bottom line, this was a huge disappointment.

My son is very excited about this kit. He has done a few of the experiments and enjoyed it. The description stated that most of parts were still sealed in factory packaging. Over half of the parts were opened and scattered in the box. There are so many small pieces that we are still trying to figure out if we have all of the pieces. Some of the small loose pieces are flat and could have slipped out of the seam of the box.
