Great value for the money
I paid a shop $150+ to refill my refrigerant in the car & within 3 weeks, it had all leaked out. So I decided to buy this instead and do the refills myself. After viewing a few videos, I was confident I could do it. Was disappointed to realize it didn't come with the gauge, so I bought one from Auto Zone. I followed the directions and dispensed some of the refrigerant in to the L port of my Mazda CX-5. I believe I heard the compressor kick on shortly thereafter (about 5 minutes). I switched off of the can & put the gauge on there to see how much more it needed and it was done! I had cold air again. This was a week ago & I still need to check if it is working or not (this is a 2nd car). I did notice at one point that some of the refrigerant was leaking out of the hose and I couldn't hook up the gauge hose to the can. When I went to the shop to have them check, they didn't find a leak but said it is possible I have a pinhole leak so I hope this will seal it up. My other car has 3x the mileage and is 6 years older, had refrigerant added 2 years ago & still blows cool air. Fingers crossed that this can does the trick, even if I have to add more refrigerant!

Warning - Leaks, Fitting Issues, Smoke, and Damage
Not recommended.Upon receiving the product, I noticed the connecting tube was already kinked, likely from being squished in the packaging (can cover). Attempting to attach it to my car was a hassle due to the ill-fitting connector, resulting in leaks from both the car's oils and the can itself. The situation escalated when the kinked tube caused even more leaks. The leaks generated smoke, which I ended up inhaling. Overall, this product has packaging issues, a bad connector, causes multiple leaks, and can result in inhaling dangerous chemicals.

Good news .... bad news
It's hard from the photo to determine what's included. There is NO GAUGE. So I needed to guess. The truck was "OK" with cooling but not as good as last year. Small leak ?? Don't know. So I thought I'd just top it off. I added 1/2 can per the installation instructions. Yup, worked. BUT now I have to buy a gauge to know if I need to add more to cool more, or reduce pressure if too high. Got a gauge? Buy this. No gauge, buy a kit with a gauge.

Recharged a/c just in time for the hot summer
I found this product after researching the correct type of refrigerant to use for my 2016 Subaru Forester and reviewing videos for DIY a/c recharging I found on Youtube. I am a relatively handy person around home and auto and found out that for me, this was a 15 minute operation once I started. The refrigerant product comes fully assembled and easy to use right out of the package. I did not find I needed a gauge as some recommend. I followed the instructions to start the car and monitor air temp as I recharged the unit. I added refrigerant a few seconds at a time and checked the air temp coming out of the A/C at full blast as per the instructions. I did not use the entire can, and at a month of hot weather and counting, the a/c is blowing cold air with no signs of any leaks or changes in temp. I'm very happy with this product and would purchase it again.Important NOTE: The directions specify the use of gloves when using this product. I strongly recommend the use of heavy vinyl or rubber waterproof gloves. I started charging using cloth gloves - this was a mistake as some of the refrigerant got on my index finger and I had a case of mild frostbite for 2-3 days because of it. I quickly switched to vinyl gloves which were much more effective in protecting my hands from the effects of the refrigerant.

Leaks and button broken
It leaks at the connection nozzle and the push button was broken,I had to fix it but lost some Freon in the process of charging it. I absolutely do not recommend this product. Total garbage. Hose was also kinked real bad. I don’t think it’s a good product. Doesn’t even have a gage and it drained my Freon so I got another can at a parts store, no problem with it. Air is working great now

Works if you can attach without leaks
First off. If you have never used this type product, it's ok to ask for help from someone who has. You fill the ac with the motor running. So hands and fingers inside and around belts, pullies and electrical is no place to mess around. No loose clothing. Your tie or sweater might look great but it has no place under the hood of your vehicle. One of them might kill you and yes, it will hurt the whole time. No joke.Item did not seal great. I have used these type items before and use gauges, so it was not me. Can did not seal at hose so product leaked during fill. Not good as item costs more than other items of similar design. I suggest to wear gloves when filling in the event a leak happens, you do not want the product on hands or fingers. Follow the directions, take your time and be safe.I might have just got a bad can, one sitting on a shelf someplace or mishandled at some point. Product does work, just use caution as you should any time you work on a vehicle.
