A Great Secondary Controller
This is not a complete replacement for a Pro controller - it won't turn on the console by itself, nor does it have NFC - but it does have nice ergonomics that some will prefer, such as the grip and the more PlayStation-esque design (in fact, after a few days of using this the Pro controller almost feels a little too bulky).First off:I love the Nintendo Pro controller and I rarely buy 3rd party.Due to issues I've had in the past with 3rd party controllers, I generally pay extra to get Officially Licensed Nintendo products.I received this as a gift, and in the few days I've used it to get a feel for it, I think that it's a good value for the money.Caveats:- Only pairs on the pairing screen- Screenshot button is on the right rather than the left (this bugs me)- Home button (center) doesn't turn on the console- No NFC (not listed in the description, but listed in instructions)- Joysticks must be in resting position when paired (otherwise you have to reset them)- Battery is not actually 500mAhPros:- Great grips- Good value for the price- Has a turbo button- Replaceable battery!! (big win here)- Electronics inside are beyond "the bare minimum"- Charges via USB CTBD:- Will it stand the test of time?- There's a reset button... but it's not a BT connect button. Huh?More Ramblings:Just looking at the circuit board, I'm impressed by one thing in particular: There's a diode next to the battery input. This means that they actually spent an extra penny or so that they didn't technically have to spend so that in case you were to plug in a replacement battery backwards, it won't break the controller. For an internal part, that's actually quite considerate. At first it felt awkward, as I'm used to the Pro controller and the GameCube controller, but I actually do like the feel of this. They may have done a better job on the hold-it-in-your-hand design. I still prefer the joysticks on the Pro controller, but these aren't bad at all.Definitely the most unexpected bit was that, unlike an official Pro controller, it won't pair unless you're actually on the home screen. You get used to the way a controller handles, and this (obviously) handles differently than the Nintendo brand, but not in a bad way, just different.Definitely a good choice for an extra controller when casually gaming with friends.

A good, cheap controller!
At a very competitive price point, JAMSWALL has been able to make a very good controller for the switch! Its wireless, has a gyroscope, and decent rumble motors. [Skip to the bottom for my short overall opinion.]Quality does leave a lot to be desired: The battery, contrary to the description, is only 400mAh 😥, as seen in my picture. The 500mAh is the reason I picked it over other similar controllers, and it's sad to know that there is such a false statement about the controller. But it does last OK, and you can even still use it while charging so you don't have to worry about that.I did experience some joystick drifting on one controller (I ordered 2), but I haven't noticed it recently and I think a blast of compressed air would take care of it. The joysticks themselves are the standard Xbox/PS4 size, so repairs are super cheap (if you know what you are doing). The great part is that you can easily take it apart! No cheeky glue or welding was used. That makes the battery easily replaceable with a bigger one (if you know what you are doing), and the controller easily paintable as well (if you know what you are doing)!Ergonomic-wise it's no PS4 or Xbox controller. It's only slightly better to hold than joy-cons. But the bigger button layout and larger joysticks are a lifesaver for people with large-ish hands! The performance is pretty good. I play Smash Bros Ultimate, Breath of the Wild, and Minecraft without any issue. Never had any lag or anything. Gyroscope works. Rumble motors work. No NFC or HD rumble, but that is expected on a $20 controller. Turbo button works (I haven't found an actual use for it yet). USB C is a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. You can connect it to a PC via said USB. The computer switches the input to AB/XY, but that is expected. I haven't tried an OTG cable for android yet, so I cannot speak for that.Pros:+ Its a $20 wireless controller that works with the Switch!+ Easy to repair, upgrade, and paint.+ USB Type-CPlus 5 Stars!Cons:- The controller has 20% less battery than it advertises.- Seems to be very cheap quality.- No Bluetooth for PC or Android.Minus 2 Stars.Overall: I would highly recommend if you are budget-conscious or want some cheap controllers for your siblings/friends.

Great Alternative / Minor Trouble Pairing (Solved!)
I got this when my joycons started having drift problems. I wanted something low cost, but not cheap in quality. This is a perfect fit. I have some trouble with my wrists and the original switch remotes started to hurt after a while. This has a much more natural shape to it and hasn't given me any problems. I haven't had it long enough to comment on battery life, but everything else has been great. The only trouble I had was pairing it. I tried it a few times and it didn't work and then the lights weren't turning on at all (yes it was charged). After that, I found the reset spot on the back and pressing that fixed that problem. Eventually, I got it paired and it turned out to be an easy fix once I figured it out. When pairing, if you hold the button down for a little bit it starts to slow blink, but switch can't find it. This was after about 5 seconds of pressing it down. However, if you hold the button down even longer it starts slow blinking, but then eventually fast blinking. That's when it's ready for pairing. It's easy to miss if you're not looking for it and the instructions don't really cover this. It's not a problem, but I wanted to add this in case anyone else ran into this.
