Velpro Mesh Pet Shoulder Harness Collar, 14", Blue, Small

This harness is nice and lightweight and fits my little one perfectly. It's hard to fit him into a harness because his neck is small and his body is larger. It's easy to put on and made well. I bought the blue one. It's a vivid royal blue. My little boy looks extra handsome in it.

Very easy to put on with velcro. No tugging. Nothing around dogs neck.

Seems very comfortable on my pup. Be sure to measure chest. My 16lb dog took a medium

I've had my girls in Velpro Choke Free for years, and this knock off is inconsistently sized with true Velpro by a long shot. It doesn't have a patent tag like the other several harnesses we have (the RED harness pictured is our OLD one). The clasp is loose and moves around/can be hidden in the stitching where our old one is nice and secure/sturdy after years of use. The knock off is far larger than the others of the same size (M), and it swallowed my dog. The fabric feels half as sturdy and floppy/thin. Do not trust this - it is NOT what is PICTURED. I just want the Velpro Choke Free now, not this junk.

I picked up a pair of Pekingese puppies last week.I love the ChokeFree harnesses, but the leather ones are a bit expensive. Since I know the puppies will grow a lot over the next couple months, I decided to save some money and ordered a couple of the velpro mesh harnesses.I have to say I was underwhelmed by the Mesh version of the ChokeFree harness.The look and light weight are fine.The fit was a different story. They are very snug! I recommend going up at least 1 size.The slot through which you put the D-ring is very small and does not have much give. Trying to get the d-ring through the slot with a tag of any sort is simply frustrating!Once it is on, it fits the puppy well.If the ChokeFree design team would true-up the sizing and improve the d-ring slot, I would be willing to try them again. I really want to like the mesh version as much as I do the leather version. I cannot do that with the current iteration.

Great enough that your dog probably will not escape this harness... also, little enough but effective if you live in warmer weather and don't want your dog to have the heaviness of a warmer all over harness. I bought two.... one that she can wear, then one she can wear when I am handwashing and drying the other harness. I wish they had larger sizes, too, for larger dogs. The largest one works all right on my Scottish Terrier.
