I absolutely love these! I have two at the entrance to my front deck. One has stopped working this week, after three years. The other is going strong. I am ordering a replacement right now for the one that stopped working. In my experience 3+ years for solar lighting is excellent!

We had one of these from a few years ago and they were cast aluminum and glass. One quit working so we were lopsided with just one entry light. Looked up the company and found this it is the exact same style shape and size however I did not pay attention in the description that this is ABS plastic not cast aluminum. This is extremely disappointing as this is a $90 solar light. $90 for one that's cashed aluminum and glass is one thing but for plastic? I guess we'll see how it holds up

Easy to install and looks fantastic. Only time will tell now on how long it will last and how the battery stands up.

Works great as a replacement for a standard pole mount fixture that I could no longer use because the underground wire is broken. To save the expense of having a new wire run I decided to give this a try. It seems to be well constructed for a plastic fixture, it is fairly heavy and everything fits. There are other Gama Sonic solar pole lights available that use metal construction but they cost more than I wanted to spend and this one looks great, similar to the original fixture. One thing that the advertisements don't tell you is that it has a place to install a second battery to extend the range of time it can operate. I have ordered a second battery and would have ordered it at the same time if I knew it had a place for one. Amazon does not sell the battery but I found it at one of the "big box" home improvement stores. Both batteries are replaceable and Gama Sonic says the batteries should last about 3 years which would be great. It also has a winter/summer switch which dims the light for longer operating range. On the "summer" (bright) setting it is almost as bright as a 25 watt incandescent bulb, on the "winter" setting it's somewhat less. Operating on one battery in the late summer on the "summer" (brighter) setting it runs for about 8 hours at night after a full sunny day. I haven't received the second battery yet so I can't say how long it runs with that. Overall I am happy with it. It's nice to have some light on the sidewalk once again.Update:After installing the second battery and leaving it cycle for several days, it stays on from dusk until dawn (about 10 hours) on the "summer" setting. This again is in late summer with full sunny days. I don't think the solar cells will be able to keep both batteries charged fully during the winter after a cloudy day but I'll have to see how much running time I get. I don't know how long this kind of fixture has been on the market but I wish I had known about it sooner. I came home after dark and it was nice to see the area lit again. It's not as bright as the 40 Watt bulb I use to use but it makes a decent amount of light with no energy cost and no expense to replace the defective power cable to the pole. I know a couple of people with the old gas light fixtures that run 24/7, this fixture would be a great alternative for those too.Update:As I suspected on short, cloudy winter days you don't get a full night of light but still it's better than no light at all. So overall I would still buy this fixture. It's a great alternative light.

I should've take a picture because I love how this looks at my driveway, day or night, its so pretty both lit or not! It added a little something extra to my yard so I'm glad I bought it.

I purchased this light in 2017 and here we are still going! Couple that with the fact I removed it from original house, stored it, put it at a second house and it still works great! They should name it Old Faithful!

This is totally made out of plastic, so I am not sure how long it will last. So far going strong after a month or so installed. My last one was a pot metal, unfortunately it met the dog :) . I think the overall design is good and better sealed than my other one. Personally I'd like to see some metal in a few places, as I know plastic and sunlight don't usually make for a long lasting item.

Every thing was as described and works very well. Excellent product.

over the years, i have had up to 20 of these lamps.they’re fantastic,and will last for years without fuss.the newer models have a replaceable bulb, but i am not sure they last any longer.

Really like these lamps. Use them at our gate on pillars to light our driveway entrance.

I had 3 lamp posts on my property, all of which "died" recently and replacement batteries were no where to be found as they were an odd size and the manufacturer of the lamp posts no longer made them. So we searched for a top to replace just the light part. Ordered one to test and see how it was. Very pleased - bright, though does not cast a wide area with light. For less than $350 replaced the 3, instead of whole new lamps. Recommend.

Awesome set of lights, brighter than the last ones I've had. They are decorative, very versatile and can be mounted any way you like. There's a switch inside that can be changed from summer to winter to make the lights stay on longer and with two big rechargeable batteries in each light makes it a plus along with 4 solar panels in each light to guarantee maximum quick recharge. The only thing that stands out in my mind besides the lights is the customer service. One of the lights did not work when I received them because the batteries was missing, a small oversight during packaging. When I called customer service they had a new light delivered to my door within 2 days. My wife an I could not believe it when the UPS guy came to the door. I have no reservations of giving these lights and Amazon 5 stars. I could not get better products and service at the local hardware store.
