Tropical Pepper Sauce Mango Coconut

I first discovered this sauce in a grocery store in California, it was an instant hit with me and my family. The regular grocery store stopped carrying it, so I kept searching in other stores for it; finally found it here on amazon. I have re-ordered it at least 4 or 5 times, I have not found anything else to compare to it that I liked as well. The consistency is about like good ketchup; it is a little sweet & a little spicy, but not too much so of either; and you can definitely taste the coconut & the mango. I would NOT recommend using it as a grill marinade, my husband tried that once & the sugar content just caused it to blacken & burn; and it is way to precious to waste, when it is absolutely perfect as a topping AFTER the fish is grilled. I suppose it would be good on chicken as well, but personally I much prefer it on salmon...would probably be good on coconut shrimp also, but those are fine with ordinary chili sauce, why waste the mango sauce, lol!

This is a great sauce. I usually use it on a shrimp/beans/rice dish but can be used just about anywhere. Peppers give a little bite but not overpowering, with the mango/coconut smoothing it out well. One downside- I used to get it locally but can't find it any more and can't find a contact for the manufacturer. Resulting in the price going up compared to what I used to buy.

Wrong size lid for this bottle.Taste great as you can tell from the other reviews.But I had to fold over glad wrap six times and place between the bottle and the lid so that it would fit somewhat tight.I still would not SHAKE the bottle in this condition unless I kept my hand on the lid.It came with a sealed lid wrapped like a wine bottle which keep the lid on before opening.UPDATE:I believe the top of the glass bottle is too small...Not that the lid is to big.UPDATE 2:I bought some more from a different vendor.Again the glass bottle top is too small for the lid that comes with it.I thought purchasing from a different location could have corrected the sloppy lid fit.I decided to just put the entire bottle into a 16 oz squeeze bottle and throw again the container that the mango comes in.

My favorite sauce for dipping. Also works for grilling. Amazing blend of mango, habanero and coconut. Great on chicken, killer on shrimp, tasty on veggies. Perks up left overs. Not too hot, very flavorful, just right! Was very glad when Amazon started carrying this item, as it is hard to find in stores outside Florida. Will be ordering more as soon as I finish this review!

The sauce is a sweet mango flavor with very tiny pieces of coconut. It has a kick to it, kinda hot but not to where it is not enjoyable. I only got it about 20 minutes ago but I can tell that it is going to be great on some some chicken wings. Buy it and if you don't like it, send it to me.🙂

We love the sauce as a replacement to standard tomato sauce on Pizzas, and as a topping on chicken. We love it so much we’ve shared a few bottles with members of the family who also have found it a wonderful alternative to spice up ordinary meals.

I have had other coconut and mango condiments, mostly with habanero peppers, but this sauce has no pepper heat. It would be great for someone that doesn't like or can't tolerate any pepper heat. I use it on grilled mahi mahi and put a little habanero sauce on it to kick it up a bit. With that addition it is actually a very good accompaniment to the fish. I'm just not a fan of it without a bit of habanero or jalapeno sauce mixed in. Its flavor profile is very coconut forward with a bit of mango sweetness.

This is a sauce I’ve used for years. I think it’s particularly good on salmon--baked or grilled.
