Wow that took some work but worth it !!!
Changing out out old 60 gallon tank was a no brainer with its 30 year old service life but i did not do my homework and they make it sound easy. First thing to go wrong was using Brass 1” fittings with PEX (Box Store Brass) and my word they sweat so bad the floor was damp and no fix was feasible so i had to start over with PVC that was a very expensive mistake. The water from the well is cold and moving so often no way to stop the natural condensation and the amount of toque to grt the leaks stoped was beyond absurd. Next the fall out from all the plumbing tape and general process waste clogged my fancy filters in no time but the worst was fixing to blow up in my face. the clogged filters and not having run a GPM bucket test i had no idea what to expect after everything was finished and kept bumping the pressure and flow up and doen trying to find a balance until the pressure stopped and the subserface pump kept running and no water. i was not aware there was a bleeder valve below the well head and i managed to rupture it. After the well company came out to fix it and had no choice but to get this product to work right. i added some gauges suspecting the filters and proved correct under flow conditions. i swapped them out and was able to reason to do the valve setting procedure with someone in the house with a phone to start and stop the shower so i could get an accurate demand and pressure as opposed to directly at the well like the video says. the pump house is about 100ft away from a small house but it made all the difference in the world and everything is working perfect now. Im not an idiot and its not a complicated setup but some do nots and don't bothers or common mistakes mentioned might save some greif to others. the valve the plumbing disaster and well service come to about 2500$. still cheaper the getting a licensed plumber out there that probably done worse. i went from 2o psi showers and constant maintaining of the previous well to now a solid 55 in the house no interruptions or pressure drops.hope this helps good luck :)
