It stopped working properly after 3 months
The concept of the product is unique and it seems there is no other competitor at this time to offer an identical product with all of these great features. It does what the advertisement says. However, the one that I purchased stopped working properly after 3 months. Here is a list of problems I have faced with:- Motion sensor doesn’t work properly, sometimes it keeps sending me motion alarms while there is nothing behind the door. Recently the motion sensor barely works.- It happens frequently that when I check the remote monitoring app, it says the device is offline while it is actually online and connected to WiFi.- The doorbell button sometimes doesn’t work.- It automatically deletes the captured photos after a couple of days, although it has a 4 GB SD card.- When I touch the screen to manually delete the photos, the device turns off.As customer service is an integral part of the product, I would like to mention that after trying to contact both the seller and manufacturer several times during a month, neither responded to the guarantee claim. Finally, it was Amazon.com's customer service that completely addressed the issue and rendered full customer satisfaction.Some product information:-The name of the device is iHome 3.-As you could see in the attached photos, in addition to the device components, the package contains two rechargeable batteries, a wall charger that directly charges a battery, and a USB wall charger with a 9.8 feet (3 meter) micro USB cable that can charge the battery when it is in the device.-It works with both Android and iOS (there is still no app for Windows operating system) and can be set up on multiple devices. The app is called Rollup and is free. I was able to set it up on both iPhone and iPad.

Cheaply made
So we tried, application look good, but the feel of the screen and touching screen makes it feel cheap. Installation was simple since the hole was made. I emailed the return policy on 4 Aug asking how I can return it because if the motion sensor not working. 5 Aug got a rely to new instructions. I Replied same day saying I want to return it still. They replied on 9 Aug, saying to contact amazon for returns, 7 Aug was the 30 day return policy. So now stuck with it.

Great idea poor execution
The idea for this is great but the item itself just isn't up to par. I was thinking of getting the ring doorbell but I liked the idea of having essentially the same thing but with a monitor. The biggest drawback to me is how unreliable it is. Sometimes it'll send a picture to my phone when it picks up a motion alert but 98% of the time it does not. I can't even find the option to enable it. I'm hoping at some point they will update the software and fix this but as of now I can't recommend this product. The audio is also very distortwd when you talk so the speaker isnt great but the mic is decent you can hear people talking ok. The battery life is not great. With the ideal setting it lasts less then 24 hrs which is not great. Bottom line is it leaves a lot to be desired and you should probably go with another product.

This is the worst product I have ever purchased
This is the worst product I have ever purchased. WHERE DO I BEGIN....This hardly ever works correctly and the battery is horrible!!!! Doesn't even last for more than a day sometimes!The alert is soo delayed it never signals that someone is in front of it until they are gone.It's supposed to ring your phone when someone presses the doorbell and it doesn't.Directions for set up are also horrible as they are not clear, took a few days and several attempts to bind to my phone.This is way to expensive for it not to work properly. I purchased the Brinno viewer and it works better than this one and was cheaper!The only good thing about it is the wide angle lens, helps encompass a good range on the other side of the door.

Works but needs a lot of improvement.
The battery needs to be charged every 5 days, very annoying.Touch screen does not work well especially for scrolling, very clumsy.User interface is way too complex for a simple use device, and the basic setup requires an IT expert.I wanted a simple digital peep-hole not a cheap android phone glued to my door.

Dont buy this
this product doesn't work as advertised. Almost no documentation. One line says to download an app from the app store to use the wifi calling. Only problem is that app doesn't work. Repeated emails to app email address went unanswered. Note the battery only lasts a couple of days so you have to switch them constantly. DONT BUY ONE of THESE
