TENMA 72-7270 Resistance Decade Box, 1 to 11111110 OHM

I’m a senior electrical engineer and design industrial electronics hardware (35+ years). I have two of these Tenma 72-7270 substitution boxes at work and one at home. They have worked fine for years.To prevent it from sliding around on my desk, I cut a 3.5 x 4 inch section from an old mouse pad and glued it to the bottom.

This is a great tool for most of small projects I like to build often logic circuits or other timing circuits require changing out resistors I like this box as I can see what happens when I change values. Unlike a Variable "pot" resistor, this box will give me very exact values. If I want 157K ohm value I can switch the exact amount of resistance in. I did a Phase Lock look experiment and it was just perfect.
