I REALLY wanted to like this thing...
At first glance this dash-cam had everything I wanted; Front and rear cameras, GPS, Navigation, and Wi-fi, all running on Android in a sexy, sleek package. I was sold. However, I was sadly disappointed when I received it.For starters, it's running Android Kit Kat (Android 4.4.4) and as far as I could tell, there is no way to upgrade it to a newer version.Secondly, there were NO Google apps, which means no Play Store. No big deal. I used the built-in web browser to go to the Play store and signed in to get my apps. Everything should be good now, right? Wrong. While this device does show up as an Android phone in my devices, its not compatible with ANYTHING I tried to install. As a last resort, I downloaded and tried to install a few APKs. No dice. It said "File not support" for every APK I attempted to install. That was the last straw. This thing runs a bastardized version of Android and you can only use the apps that came with it, which isn't much (a music player, file explorer, web browser, and the camera app). It does come with some kind of built-in navigation, but it looks like you have to pay for it first. I couldn't tell what it was asking for because it was in Chinese/Mandarin.Oh well, on to the next.

Not worth the $209 Dollars I paid.!!
I've had this product just over a month now and here is my two cents. Looks good on the dash and the safety features of the ADAS do work fairly well but it does often have a hard time distinguishing a two-lane road or highway as the one lane that I occupy. Like another review I read and I agree with, is that it does have some bastardized version of Android because I tried putting in a standard Android app and it would not take it.The voice prompts can't really be understood. Not because the speaker isn't good or anything but it's in some kind of mix between a bad English speaking Chinese person and a real British accent. The manual is no help in telling you what the voice prompts are supposed to be saying. In fact it wasn't until just recently that I figured out what one of the prompts was.The software isn't as good as it can be. On the main screen it displays your speed as kilometers per hour which is great if your country uses metric. Here in the United States we use miles per hour and there's absolutely no way that I found that I could change the speed display to mph. By the way there's almost no piece of tech that I can't figure out. Just saying. The manual again was no help in this matter. As many times as I put it to the setting to recognize my cell phone network time and date it will not sync the correct time and date of my cell phone. So I had to use a little trig to figure out how to get it to at least go into night mode when using the GPS when it started to get dark because the time and date would never program correctly in the automatic mode. Try manual mode you say, yeah tried that, it never saves it.A month into owning it the unit stopped recognizing the memory card that was in it. I removed it cleaned it reinserted it still did not recognize it. I removed it again cleaned it some more put it back in it recognized it but asked for it to be reformatted.I'm going to be eating a lot of humble pie if this unit doesn't last at least 1 year. My wife for one can't wait till I'm eating that humble pie.My verdict: Not worth the over $200 price tag. Maybe half that would be a reasonable price.Update 5/29/20So the camera just went out today and anything slightly bright just white washes the screen it's horrible this didn't even last a month! Another thing I forgot to add before was the keyboard that pops up when trying to enter a GPS address is a lot of it is still in Chinese. The picture show the difference between the front Cam and the rear cam at night.
