Alouette Skate Tool Set of 2,All-In-One Multifunctional portable T-tool&Y-tool for skateboard

A special thanks to Alouette, this is an excellent purchase. Not only are you getting two skate tools for a very reasonable price, they are well made and durable. On each there is a fitting for your kingpin/bushings, wheels and deck screws.Other reviewers mentioned there is no tool to remove bearings from the wheels, there are actually two! On the other side of the phillips head screwdriver is an O-ring, this is designed to pop your bearings out without damaging the threads on your trucks. The key difference between the two tools is different sized O-rings to accommodate different bearing diameters.Last but not least we are given a convenient re-threading tool in case the threads on your trucks do become damaged. I'll bet some people were wondering what that Ninja Star in the middle of the Y-tool was for? :)Overall the Alouette Skate tools are an excellent choice with fast shipping and great customer service.

Work fine for roller skates as well.A few notes, though:* The T-shaped one is essentially the same as the Y-shaped one minus the threading hole.* The T-shaped one is more fragile than the Y-shaped one. I didn't break it but came close on a tight nut.* The Allen/Phillips+#2 falls off the Y-shaped one, not so much the T-shaped one* For many skates or boards you will need the proper wrench to hold the counter-nut, not included here.

A skate tool is an essential for a skater. Sure you can use a socket wrench or a even an electric drill, but having all you need to maintenance your trucks on one tool is much more convenient, you can put it in your bag and whenever you feel like you need to adjust your trucks, change your wheel, or tighten your screws you just pull out your skate tool and go ham. Both skate tools do the same thing so you don't need to carry both; however, the triangle skate tool has a rethreader for when you strip/wear down the screws on your trucks when taking off your wheels/bearings. You shouldn't need this as long as you're careful and don't wear down the screws, but it's a nice inclusion.Overall, very worth it for the price and it's an essential tool to have for any serious skater.

From the picture it looks like it's a metal tool with a plastic coating. Don't be fooled, it's mostly plastic and the only metal parts are the sockets on the ends. What this usually means is that instead of lasting 10+ years to a lifetime, the plastic will break in 3-5 years and you'll have a piece of junk. But, it gets the job done for now and works well for the intended purpose so 4 stars unless it breaks and if it does I'll update.

Great product. Carry it everywhere I go when I skate. I've been skating for over 20 years and I've used many tools expensive and cheap. You really dont need an expensive tool that will last you a lifetime. Even though this will. They usually get misplaced or lost so I've always enjoyed having something I'm not overly disappointed about losing. My only complaint on the product is the screw driver doesn't stay in place. A rubber band works nicely but the fact that I have to fix it when you buy it doesn't feel like its 5 start worthy. I highly recommend this tool though. Can't beat the price.

Solid build and perfect for customizing trucks on both longboards and skateboards. You also get 2 for the price of $10. Both have the same purpose, but one of them has a threader for fixing the axles of the trucks. Definitely would recommend these.

My kiddo has joined the circus! The roller derby actually..but I needed one of these as I was getting her gear for her. These work great. They fit well in my hand, have a nice weight to them and work great. I can’t remember how they compared in price but I’m sure they do. I’d recommend this item and I’d purchase again if needed.

I bought these for my roller skates and they work great. I love that they include the tool for popping bearings out of the wheel. They don’t work for my trucks, but that’s fine by me. They might work for other types depending on the brand.

The tools seem pretty good, solid construction and they fit all the different bolt and screw sizes on my skate board. The only complaint I have is that the separate screwdriver that comes with the Y tool falls out of the slot very easily. The T tool's stays held in great, but the on for the Y tool should have another rubber ring on it to hold it in place, it's not a big deal because if I want to take one with me somewhere I can just use the T. Other than that no complaints, they're light but have enough weight to feel solid. I'm pleased with them.

plastic feels cheap but so far is holding up to use and abuse! nice and light in pocket...
