I Like It
As stated in many other reviews the ballast must be bypassed for this to work properly. It is not hard to do but I can see it being intimidating to someone without at least some experience. You are dealing with 120volts AC and a screw up could get kind of interesting. The diagram is clear but if you somehow wired both the hot lead and the neutral to the same side (which since there are 4 pins is not inconceivable) you would have a melt down and at least trip a breaker. So, with that said, this thing works great and replaces a hard to find (at least in my local) and sometimes short lived fluorescent bulb.

Had to return
Worked but not correctly because I have a ballast and can't bypass it so it just strobed. But if I could bypass the ballast, it would've been great.

Directions should be clearly stated for a product like this.
Blew it up in less than 15 seconds due to it's packaging not indicating that it is NOT a drop in replacement for florescent bulbs with ballasts. Directions should be clearly stated for a product like this.

Awesome, Bright Bulb
Replaced the CFL bulb in my bathroom fan light with this LED. Very bright and uses less energy! Keep in mind this is more of a daylight than a soft light brightness, but that is what I was looking for. You also need to bypass the ballast, which was easy to do, just google how to bypass a ballast and the 1000bulbs website has great instructions. Good luck and enjoy!

Great retro-fit lamp, should have better documentation of retrofit procedure
Works great so far. Quite bright. I had no problems re-wiring the socket to remove the ballast, but I can see that some would probably prefer better documentation.

Defective product
The light worked fine for three months and then quit working. Now it flicks on and off constantly. The company website claims they have a warranty but are completely unresponsive. Don't buy this light.
