This product genuinely works well as a replacement for the Astro A40’s headset, I found it to be very useful, although not of the same quality, it is a very good product that serves as a pretty perfect replacement if your original cord breaks.

The media could not be loaded.  Have Amazon prime and they are also prime delivery which I got it in 2 days since my headset qire broke so I didnt need to wait long to start gaming again. The quality feel a little thicker than the original astro cables which i like. Feel sturdy. Sound quality is just as good so there no much difference than the original. The buttons work a little better also. Bought two but looks like I won't be using that one for awhile since it seems like they'll last awhile. Honestly worth the money if you have a pair of Astros.

I have had this cord for three days and it stopped working, the audio works fine but it won't let me talk any more. I used a real astro a40 cord from my brothers headset and plugged it into my controller and it worked perfectly. This product is a cheap knockoff of a real astro cable. Buy the real cable from the astro website it may take longer to arrive but it will work correctly.

Previous Astro cable worked fine for 3+ years before any issues came up. 4 months into this cable and it has started to crackle and lose the right ear if the cable is jiggled at all. Annoyed

Cable works fine. I'm using it on PC. I don't get the original quality that I get from using mixamp on my xbox controller but it's still pretty good. Surround sound still works and mic quality is decent if you know how to adjust your audio settings. There is a problem, however, where desktop audio leaks onto mic and everyone can hear your audio.

This is a great replacement if you need another wire for your Astros, sound and audio quality seems the exact same to me. Only thing I might say is this wire is half the length of the Astro wire so if you’ve been using the long wire it might take some getting used to.

I bought this to replace a broken headset cable for Xbox One. Works perfectly, the kids are very happy!
