Inexpensive, goes far and gives great results!
My very practical, very knowledgeable equine vet has long recommended this product for equine cuts and abrasions. Although it's a bit messy and definitely will stain anything you get it on, it has worked wonders for some nasty abrasions and other small wounds on our horses over the years. Just keep the tissue liberally coated with red oil and it will deter infection and keep skin moist while healing. I used it on a large abrasion on my mare's stifle, caused by a fall when lunging, and the skin healed well with all the hair coming back in black. It's inexpensive and gets great results.

Good stuff
I used this on my chickens for scaley leg mites. Worked great! Easy to apply with the little ball on a stick that it came with.

Worked well for scaley leg mites
My chicken had scaley foot mites. I first just put it on her to start the treatment & could tell it was helping. The next time I cleaned her legs well using a toothbrush to brush out some of the crap between her scales and removed some damaged ones. I sprayed the medication and then put some petroleum jelly on her legs to keep the medicine in and sooth the dryness. I did this about 3-4 times once a week. This was months ago and her legs still look good. I’m thinking of spraying it on her again just to be on top of it and prevent it from coming back.Be careful of getting it on yourself or other things. It’s bright red and sprays quick.

Stains your clothes
Smells like vicks and has a really oily texture. Arrived yesterday and I applies right away on my gamefowls feet since he had gotten into a cage fight with a rooster that was loose I thought he would end up with an infection or somtheing like that but this products sealed up the cuts and stopped the bleeding right away I hope it helps with scaring and preventing infections

Farriers know best.
Use this product per my farrier instruction on the coronary band of my horse. She has four white socks so it made him look extra fancy. The intended use was to help thicken post growth. I believe it did work to increase the strength and flexibility. It is a messy product and I would recommend having gloves. I received it in the mail intact without any leaking or problems.
