Empire BT Rip Clip Loader Black

Man, this thing could have been really sweet. Using it with a BT4 Combat Slice, and I've been having trouble getting it dialed in and tends to overfeed on me. There are two different settings each with three degrees of sensitivity which are "Feed rate" and "Sound activation". I'm using the stock barrel and stock trigger system so maybe that's the problem. I have an aftermarket barrel on order, and I'll update the review if I can manage to get it shooting consistently.

This is the generation 2 rip clip hopper. The advantage of the rip clip is to remove the hopper off the top of the marker blocking views or obscuring sights, lasers ,etc. This second generation version is sleeker and one piece as opposed to 2 on version 1. This also rotates sound activated from marker firing. The advantage of this version is it also is equiped with eyes which read if you have an obstruction in feed connector like lodged paintball, etc and it wont keep feeding making problem worst. Fits pretty much all the battle tested markers with included marked specific adaptors. This thing is awesome. They should send me a free one i like it so much!!

With its low profile and side feed feature, this thing is awesome for optics. Sits to the side opening up visual window. Easy to get into for maintenance and battery swap.

Need to figure out the settings and buttoms more in detail otherwise worked just fine.

Works great. I really like that it sits low profile. It's nice to look down my guns barrel and not have the loader in the way of my line of sight.

Got this to replace my old ripclip on my bt tm15 with apex barrel.ran 6k balls try it, testing it in all the settings. Gun set @ 25pssemi auto shoots flawless. 3shot burst wld only get 1 or 2 balls.full auto was very inconsistent.shot more air than balls. The only improvement over the old ripclip is it's slightly lighter. Don't care for the one price design, the ability to change hoppers with the old one is a bonus. The Tippman low pro hopper was a perfect fit and even comes in 400 ball sizes while staying just as low as this new design. Empire really needs to get away from sound activation. If they wanted to improve the ripclip they shld have just added the velocity drive system , built in rf board, and stock low pro hopper. Then they wld have a 5 star loader. Their failure once again to produce a off the top loader for the TM15 has me seriously think about buying a Dye DAM with the box mag. Sorry Empire I love my Bt and my mini but the ripclips render my Bt useless.
