Two stars for relatively light weight, two charging ports and availability in a high visibility color.Three stars off for inconsiderate design, particularly the abysmal stupidity of requiring a button push to start charging after plugging in. It is all too easy to forget this needless step and think you are charging whilst time slips away.And what a pity that the charging ports are not enabled when the pack is itself charging. At the least, the charging ports ought to turn back on once the power pack is full. That way, it would have been a handy splitter, plugging one or two devices into it for overnight charging of all three. Too bad the designers didn't spend more thought on the user rather than the swanky design and cute digital capacity meter.The actual available capacity, by my measurement, is around 4000 mAh, not the advertised 6000. But that’s normal because like most battery packs, the capacity is advertised at the 3.7v of their internal batteries. It’s less when converted to USB’s 5 volts for output.I bought this to replace one of Tylt’s smaller, lighter, cheaper 5200 mAh bricks, sadly discontinued. You can still find them on eBay, refurbished.Edit: On the flight home from the vacation I bought this for, my wife tried and was unable to charge her phone with this pack, until I woke up and told her about that stupid button. I rest my case.

I first bought one of these at the airport when I was looking for a slim portable charger. The fact that it had a digital readout of remaining charge was an added benefit, but ultimately an important benefit compared to other portable chargers I have used. When my son saw it he wanted one because of his frustration with chargers that did not have a portable read out. So I bought this for him on Amazon and he loves it. You can't go wrong.

Like the slim sleek look, mostly I like that I can still talk on my phone while it’s charging. So far I’ve only used it with my phone.
