These sheets have a non-stick, low friction, durable surface that results in the smoothest possible action when used in homemade or factory original jigs, fixtures, and fences. Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) material is a tough, heavy, dense plastic with self-lubricating properties that's great at reducing material to fence friction on router table fences or auxiliary table saw fences. Because UHMW is easily machined with carbide saw blades and carbide router bits it can also be used for table saw runners, router templates or any project component where friction is a problem. Sheets are 4" x 48".

Great sacrificial fence addition to my Incra TS-LS positioner
This is by far the best product I've used for a sacrificial fence. Smooth, straight and easily modified to fit my fence configuration. I can't see why this wouldn't last for YEARS t come if not the life of my table saw!!!It was very easy to size, I just ran it thru the table saw to cut it down to length and then attached some metric socket head screws and rectangular nuts on to it so that it could adapt to and utilize the "T" slots in my fence system. I also left a 1/16" gap at the bottom to allow for sawdust to escape Vs. clogging up at the bottom edge of the fence. It also allows for a quick brushing or a more intense vacuuming when I clean up my work surface.Other than being a bit pricey - because we ALL know a piece of plywood or left-over hardwood stock is a LOT cheaper than this item - my hopes are that its longevity makes the initial upfront cost worth the price in the end:-)

I used this products on a homemade winter firewood sled. I drag the sled with a 4-wheeler or snowmobile. This products stays flexible in the cold and slides over snow, ice and when needed soil and stone. Full disclosure, this picture is before I placed the UHMW sheets on the runners, the runners were destroyed. Now they are protected and i can drag more wood at a time due to the lower friction.
